Dr. Karlton Johnson Helps Raise and Mentor Young Men in Houston

In an era and time where many pay lip service and little or no attention to the issue of communal helps and social responsiveness, Dr. Karlton Johnson is literally walking the talk by providing guidance and mentorship to young men out there via a series of developmental projects. Dr. Karlton is the Director of Career Technical Adult Community Education (CTACE), a revolutionary department that is focused on preparing learners for the world of work by introducing them to workplace competencies.

As part of the many humanitarian programs of Dr. Karlton to mentor and empower young men in Houston, a few days back, on 29 June, 2022, he organized a luncheon for these bright stars at the Galleria Del Friscos. It was indeed an educational, motivational, inspiring, and fun-filled session, where the participants were challenged on the importance of building a positive self-esteem, and becoming the best at what they do or wherever they find themselves.

Speaking excitedly, Dr. Karlton Johnson said; “I am thrilled and absolutely delighted to be passing wisdom, knowledge, and experience to the youths. Mentors are ladders that have been used throughout history to teach, model, and launch young men into a better tomorrow that embraces good conduct, family values and professional excellence. This luncheon is one of many things I have in store for the young men in Houston, other plans will unfold in subsequent months.”

In recognition of the thousands of hours Dr. Karlton Johnson has poured out into service for the country, he has been honored by the President of the United States of America as a recipient of the ‘The Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award,’ which he will receive on December 4th, 2022, in Houston, Texas. He would also receive his own room at Leaders Esteem Bible University dedicated to him as he is very passionate about education.

“I am happy to work with Dr. Karlton Johnson to help young men in our community. As an etiquette specialist, I will provide classes to them and train them as etiquette is very important and it is needed,” says Dr. Verna Caddie, the Founder of Leaders Esteem Christian Bible University.

It is important to note that Dr. Karlton will be very present with this mentoring program from beginning to end. He would be doling out loads of goodies, helping the young men with valuable items such as; back-to-school backpacks and a lot more. “You do not want to sleep on this opportunity of a lifetime. If you have a young man that you know could benefit from this wonderful program, please send your information to: esteemuniversity@gmail.com. You would be glad you did,” Dr. Karlton concluded.
