Dr. Sam Shahoveisi, Cosmetic Dentistry Powerhouse And Founder Of City Dental Centers Set To Expand To 50 New Locations In Southern California

Dr. Sam Shahoveisi is the #1 dentist to watch out for in 2021. Dr. Sam takes an entirely unique approach to cosmetic dentistry. A pioneer in his methodology, he presently owns and operates 4 extremely successful dental offices in and around Los Angeles suburbs and plans to open 50 new locations in the next several years.

His grit and dedication to his craft were honed over years of hardship. Born in Chicago, Dr. Sam lived in the United States for just one year before moving back to Iran. The next several years were filled with difficulty as Iran endured war, tragedy, and destruction. At age 13, his parents sent him back to America, however, this time he was completely alone. Over the next decade, he lived on and off the streets, struggling to make ends meet but resolved to remain committed to his studies. His hard work paid off, and at just 26, he graduated from dental school as one of the youngest in his class.

Dr. Sam never forgot his roots or the communities that had been home for all those years, so when he opened his practice, City Dental Center, he elected to do so in Pico Rivera, a low-middle income suburb of Los Angeles. While his colleagues were busy opening up offices in the wealthy Los Angeles neighborhoods, he had a different idea.

“Why shouldn’t cosmetic dentistry be available to all?” Dr. Sam postulated.

Because of the expense associated with veneers and smile makeovers, many people assume that such procedures are reserved for the wealthy and the celebrities alone. However, Dr. Sam suggests that cosmetic dentistry be made available to people from all demographics. For this reason, he elected to open his next three offices in cities like Azusa, West Covina, and Corona. Although these cities aren’t known for their wealthy demographics, Dr. Sam has found no shortage of clients in search of a smile makeover. Indeed, his services have been so in demand that he is constantly adding new staff to his roster and planning for the expansion of several new offices.

“In the next 7 years, I plan to open and operate 50 City Center Dental offices,” says Dr. Sam. “For far too long, the rich and famous were the only people who could afford a cosmetic dental procedure, we’re setting out to change that.”

Perhaps even more surprising is the fact that Dr. Sam has been able to retain the ambiance and experience of a boutique dental office in each of his corporate locations. From his carefully selected staff down to the quality of the veneers he fits each patient with, the entire experience mimics that of a luxury Beverly Hills dental office.

So, how does he do it? For one, Dr. Sam was strategic in the selection of his office location, while all of his offices are located in safe, clean areas, he is not forced to pay the downtown mark-ups associated with office space in Hollywood or Beverly Hills. Rather, he is free to focus on the care and quality of his services and products instead. While many other dentist offices are forced to outsource for the creation of ceramic veneers, Dr. Sam does it all in-house through his own lab, City Dental  Lab, as a result, he can offer veneers at a much lower price tag, without sacrificing any of the quality.

As Dr. Sam looks at the coming months, he is eager to continue to expand his empire with hopes of reaching as many people as possible in and around the greater Southern California area.
