Dr. Shelton Zenith Labs- A Fit and Healthy Lifestyle & The Power of Social Media

Dr. Shelton Zenith Labs

People all over the world seek to have a picture perfect thin, muscular, and defined body. Social media has created a lot of idols and perceptions on how a person’s body should look, especially how women define beauty. However, having a “perfect” body is highly subjective, and more than ever, health coaches are trying to promote a healthy lifestyle over a certain body image.

Many fitness, health, and diet experts have taken to sharing their experiences on how to achieve this lifestyle through social media. They share their daily life, how and what they eat, and what exercises they do to achieve a strong body.

The power of social media is controversial. There are concerns that, though the desire to have a healthy lifestyle is growing, the distorted perception of what defines “healthy” is sometimes solely focused on outward appearance.

Fit and healthy is the new trend

The power of social media brings new trends all the time. A fantastic new trend is living a clean, healthy, and fit lifestyle. There are a lot of influencers on Instagram who share their daily food and exercise habits to inspire others to do the same. They explain the importance of various ingredients and how helpful a balanced diet is. One awesome example of this is Dr. Shelton Zenith Labs who is an expert on health and diets.

Countless followers are inspired by influencers and see their lifestyle as a desired goal. Dr. Shelton of Zenith Labs reminds his followers that following a trend diet is not always a good thing. A healthy lifestyle should be something that can be maintained, not something that is a quick fix.

Social media does not show everything

On social media, we sometimes see someone’s perfectly drawn world where the person is super happy all the time – good diets, a perfectly defined body, and a dream life.

Of course, the interest of many influencers is to entertain their viewers and not showcase their whole life. Yet, the followers often forget about that. They see a perfect world, a perfect body, and happiness everywhere.

Dr. Ryan Shelton reminds us that a positive response to feeling unhappy because of the “perfect” life of an Instagram celebrity is to keep in mind that they only show what they want their viewers to see, but most have a normal life off screen, with all the ups and downs. Being constantly aware of this is very important.

The perfect picture challenges everyone

However, too often, seeing the perfect pictures and the amazing lifestyle many influencers show, makes us feel even more imperfect. Understanding and accepting that we just see certain pictures on social media is a very important process.

It isn’t a bad thing to watch and follow people on social media to get inspired and entertained. The inspiration can be very, very good for many people. Dr. Shelton from Zenith labs reminds viewers that many health and fitness influencers can be a great inspiration, but be sure their lifestyle meshes well with your life and goals.
