Dream the American Dream

Dr. Deji Ayoade may appear to be an ordinary American to most, but his gentle smile and shining eyes hide the struggles of a lifetime. Born in Nigeria, Dr. Ayoade traveled to the United States to fulfill his thirst for knowledge. A life spent chasing a dream and finally realizing it is a tale worth telling to inspire a generation of those who yearn to be where Dr. Ayoade is today.

The Military Man

Dr. Ayoade opens up about his life in his new book, Underground — A Memoir of Hope, Faith, and the American Dream. This book explores his education, personal life, and career in the three branches of the United States Armed Forces. It explores an uphill battle. However, the author underscores the rewards that this journey brought.

Immigration to America

The book wishes to stand as an example of how one’s faith can prevail in the face of adversity, including poverty, betrayal, grief, and near-death experiences. Moreover, it reveals how the promise of basic stability in America helps immigrants heal and move forward from tragic losses. Most people are willing to build a new life to achieve a basic existence in a place where one’s faith, identity, and future are secured. The book guides everyone on the pathway to prosperity.

Land of Opportunity

Through his book, Dr. Ayoade intends to inspire international students visiting America for academics, or on scholarships, as well as those who might be feeling afraid or terrified by the uncertainties of life. He aims to serve as a guide for those who are wondering if the grief and uncertainty are worth leaving their homelands behind; and whether America still holds the same promise of being a “land of opportunity.” Is this life-changing decision that Dr. Ayoade is helping his readers make worth the trouble,? The answer is in the reading of this book.

Solani: The Non-Profit Initiative

This work of non-fiction pays homage to the United States. Through a non-profit titled “Solani International,” Dr. Ayoade has decided to give back. The proceeds of book sales will contribute to creating a scholarship fund for international students that will enable more immigrants to come to America for academic and professional aspirations, as well as new lives, all in pursuit of the great American Dream.

Let’s Help the Cause

As of now, Dr. Ayoade is running a campaign on Kickstarter to get the book published and reach out to as many people as he can. If you believe in his ideals, you can support him by donating to this wonderful cause, today.
