“Eating home-cooked food is a reward for your body”

Health is considered to be an important factor that contributes to human well-being and economic growth. Currently, there are numerous health issues which ultimately affect the aggregate economy’s output. Indian women for the past many decades have been prone to various diseases which are due to the unhealthy diet, stress, the environment they live in, and some biological reasons. Women in India have higher mortality rates relating to cardiac diseases than men in India. The Indian Heart Association (NGO) has been raising awareness about the issue. These health issues can be treated by educating people about the cures for such problems. Dr. Snehal Adsule, a well-recognized dietitian, has been working on women’s health issues for the past few years. Her motto is to improve the health condition of women in India. She got the inspiration to do this after her Aunt died due to blood cancer. This incident naturally inclined her towards the health problems women in India suffer from. In a survey conducted by Dr. Snehal Adsule, she met hundreds of women who were suffering from some of the other problems, and the reason was common: food and stress. This motivated her to do something exclusively for women and there she found her mission to ‘To make 1 million Indian women healthy, happy and empowered.

Food and stress are two main things that lead to 68% of disorders in women, according to the NHFS-III survey. In today’s era, obesity is one of the biggest problems which females of all ages are facing. Overweight is associated with several health-related conditions which include high blood pressure, elevated blood sugar, and creates a much higher risk of heart diseases. If their parents are overweight, they are more likely to be overweight themselves. Obesity and overweight are linked to many cases, increasing the cause of death in women.

Dr. Snehal Adsule was founded to assist women in controlling their weight through her diet plan, which includes nutritional food, exercise, a good intake of water, stress management, and sleep management.
