Edona Misiri, the artist in the fashion industry.

Edona Misiri is a fashion illustrator and designer from Albania, who is gaining an international reputation thanks to her artwork within the fashion industry. Inspired by designers such as Valentino, Louis Vuitton, Moschino, Chanel and other brands Edona gained a market that loves fashion and illustration: “I want the people who like my work to think of me as a lover of beauty and to be an inspiration to those who love fashion illustration and design and to the ones who want to work in fashion art industry in the future.”
With a large number of fashion artists currently in the market, Edona managed to stand out for creating illustrations catching for the eye, colorful, stylish and cartoon at the same time. She has always painted and she didn’t find herself by chance in the world of fashion illustration, worked hard for her goals, had expectations but didn’t expect all this appreciation from the audience: “I’m so grateful for all the people who follow my work, for all the kind messages that I receive constantly, for all the people who gets inspired by what I do with so much love. This helped me to focus and improve aspects in my work process I wasn’t as confident in.” She strongly believes in the future of her work and this always gives her an extra boost: “I’m sure that illustration is something that is needed in so many fields not only in fashion market. Can be used in interior design, illustration for new products of all kinds, it is important to always give it that trendy touch, obviously.
I absolutely think the illustration industry will grow more in the future. Every day there are very talented young artists who take part in this beautiful and great industry.” Asked which fashion artist she sees as a strong rival she answers: “I don’t see rivals, I see colleagues and everyone of them is talented and successful in their own way. I’m also a big fan of some of them.” Putting her work as main, with clear goals and determined, she wants the attention to be focused on her sketches: “My goal is that when people look at a sketch, recognizes it’s mine. I prefer people to know and recognize my work and my name more than my face.” She has designed some dresses, illustrated famous fashion brands and just published her first book waiting for 2 others to be published in the fashion field. The future looks very promising for this artist.
