Embrace your mistakes and learn from them -Dr. Sitanshu Singh

India is known as a conflation of nationalities & cultures and becoming an innovative nation gradually. In India, Entrepreneurship has been growing significantly in the past decade due to a strong supporting ecosystem. Rather than founding technology firms, many Indian Entrepreneurs came from hardworking and humble beginnings. India has witnessed the rise of a large number of successful startups in recent years which are ready to challenge established companies across the world and one such startup is ‘ThinkFiniti Education’, run by a passionate, self made entrepreneur Dr. Sitanshu Singh. Sitanshu is a Doctor, Singer, Life Coach, Memory Trainer and a Public Speaker. He has counselled around 2.5 lakh clients at ThinkFiniti Education from all over India comprising students, parents and teachers. Dr. Sitanshu has been the youngest Memory Trainer in India and is the only doctor as well who teaches memory training.
Dr. Sitanshu is not one of those who waits for opportunities to knock their door but among those who create opportunities themselves. Since school days, he has indulged in extracurricular activities. During college time, he started ventures like car dealerships and hungry homies just to taste the menu of his life. Although he didn’t make a profit but learned a lot and gained experience, that’s all that matters for him.
After a few years, he got a job at a counseling company. He was not meeting their requirements and was too young to have it yet procured. Dr. Sitanshu was in love with his work, enjoying his job, learned to engage and counsel the students, sharpening his counseling skills over the time and adding value to students. When he got enough experience and confidence, he began working on his own venture ThinkFiniti Education.
Without any further delay, let’s jump into the conversation with Dr. Sitanshu Singh, the founder of ‘Thinkfinite Education’.
1)Why did you choose Entrepreneurship as a profession?
To be honest, I didn’t choose it, it chose me. The more I kept going towards it, the more I started loving it. Now, it’s been 6 years of me doing this work and it’s just about the appreciation and love I receive from the children that keeps me motivated to do more and more.
2) Do’s you would like to share for those who want to become an entrepreneur?
Firstly, I would say, Accept your mistakes and learn from them because I remember when I started my business, I made a lot of mistakes and I still do. But the most important thing about mistakes is what you learn from them. So instead of fearing them, we should learn to embrace them. Secondly, Be patient. Everything takes time, nothing great was made in a day. It takes endless sleepless nights, endless rejections and endless hours of labour. Just hang in there and keep learning.
3)Tell us about your singing talent?
Actually, I really like to sing, play guitar and listen to music. The response I receive from audiences whenever I do stage shows is really overwhelming. I have already launched a song on Spotify, Amazon music, YouTube and all the music apps as well. So, I just love being on stage. It manifests one part of me.
4)What would be your advice to budding entrepreneurs?
Don’t do anything just because you want to live a luxurious life. Do it only if you want to add value to someone’s lives because the only satisfaction is when you are the reason behind someone’s growth.
Besides, never feel content. Always try new ideas. Don’t be afraid to explore different things because if you win, brilliant, if you fail, you will learn and become wise & come out smarter next time.
5)What is unique about your business and what is your mission as a company?
Well firstly, there is not a single doctor in India who provides memory training. Also, I have been the youngest memory trainer of India. Secondly, ‘ThinkFiniti Education’ is the only company which provides all the three services like Vedic Maths, Memory Training and Career Counseling under one roof. Now, we want to update the way people think. We aim to make people understand that memory is a language that shiybe developed as a habit in everyone.
