Everything You Need to Know About Fashion Enthusiast Afrid Rahuman

Established by a young enterprising business and investor, Afrid Rahuman runs Veblen Store and is Australia’s number one personal shopper combining high-end designer and streetwear with authenticity guaranteed. The brand stands out as a personal shopper and stylist store specializing in all high-end designer clothes and streetwear, including highly coveted and hyped sneakers, collector bags, sought-after jackets, and exotic watches.

The 23-year-old Sri Lankan-born has a profound passion for the fashion industry. Rahuman has always been intrigued by the fashion world, and his biggest dream was to pursue his passion as a successful career path. “I took a great interest in fashion growing up and turned this obsession into a successful business,” Rahuman adds.

Since making his professional debut in the fashion scene, Rahuman has stood out because of his unquestionable work ethic and passion for the industry. He has invested many hours and a lot of effort in learning, understanding, and keeping abreast of the fast-paced nature of the fashion world. Rahuman has not only established a solid and trusted industry network worldwide but has also formed a reliable connection with suppliers from around the world for rare, collectible pieces.

Rahuman’s authenticity and desire to be a leader in the industry are evident in the effort he puts into ensuring he provides the best possible service while ensuring the authenticity of his pieces. “This gives my clients confidence shopping online while obviously also pricing my goods very competitively,” he adds.

One of Rahuman’s most notable career highlights was sourcing a rare Chanel bag. This was a special milestone for the collector as there are not many of them on the market, let alone a brand new piece. Rahuman also made headlines after selling a Rolex Daytona John Mayer watch to a VIP. To him, this remains a special moment in his career, as it was one of his first milestones.

Challenges are meant to be part of the journey to success, and Rahuman’s is no exception. The young entrepreneur highlights his biggest challenge as creating a solid digital presence. Instagram, for instance, is a fast-paced platform and one of the toughest to create a credible page due to the increased number of fake profiles.

“My biggest challenge was building credibility on Instagram. There are so many fake accounts and scammers trying to ruin the online shopping experience, especially for items worth tens of thousands of dollars,” Rahuman adds.

Fortunately, Rahuman overcame all this, amongst other hurdles, by remaining true to his purpose. He also tried to stand out with the best possible content and connect with all his clients on WhatsApp. “I also want to build an authentic relationship with my clients. I personally talk to them and give them a personalized VIP experience,” he says.

A staunch believer, Rahuman dedicates his business’ success to God’s favor and grace. He desires to grow his brand across Australia and beyond its borders. Rahuman wants to provide the best possible service to his clients and open a private viewing boutique in a few years.
