Famous Hairdresser Murat Kılıç: ‘Pay Attention To 5 Important Rules About Hair Care In Cold Weather’

Hair designer Murat Kılıç emphasized that hair care is very important in cold weather and explained 5 important rules to be considered.

Hairdresser Murat Kılıç stated that many aspects should be kept in the forefront in order for the hair to have a lively and lush appearance. “It will ensure that the hair reaches the moisture it needs. In addition, the hair should definitely be dried before going out.”

“The right shampoo makes the hair gain volume”

Emphasizing that the use of shampoo is an important detail, hair designer Kılıç said, “Dehydration of the scalp in cold weather causes problems such as hair loss and dandruff.  For this reason, it is very important to use the right shampoo, especially in these months.  Shampoo suitable for hair type should be preferred and hair care should be applied.

“Showering with very hot water wears out the hair”

Underlining that taking a shower with very hot water damages the natural oils on the scalp, Murat Kılıç said, “It is possible to gradually increase the temperature of the water while in the shower.  But too much hot water damages the natural oils in the scalp that nourish the hair.  Therefore, taking a shower with warmer water instead of very hot water is important for hair care.

Wearing a hat in cold weather

Suggesting to wear a hat to protect the hair from natural conditions such as rain and wind, Hairdresser Kılıç said, “Using a hat in cold weather will make it possible to protect the hair from rain and strong winds.  For this reason, always wear a hat before going out.

 “Hair must be dried”

Expressing that the hair should be dried before going out, Kılıç said, “It is very important to dry your hair before going out, as the hair is much more prone to breakage when wet.  Also, do not bring the hair dryer too close to your hair while drying.  In this way, you will not damage your hair.  Keeping the issues I mentioned at the forefront will make it possible for the hair to get a much more lively and voluminous appearance, since the hair is much more broken and worn in the winter months.

Underlining that clean hair is very effective in hair styling, Murat Kılıç concluded his statements on the subject with the following words: “Having clean hair will make the hair easier to shape. Therefore, if the customer’s hair is not clean, the hair is washed in detail. Then the haircut is started. This is important for success in haircuts. Women who want their haircuts to meet their demands should pay attention to the issues I have stated. A customer who knows what he wants will achieve what he wants very easily.”
