Executive Voice

Faraaz Siddiqui, a software engineer who turned into the director of ‘Spoonful of Hyderabad’ and ‘Spoonful Digital Media’.

“Food is to eat and good food is meant to be enjoyed. I think food is actually very beautiful in itself.”

With this quote, there exists no other quote which better expresses the sincerity of the love for food. There is no one in this world who doesn’t like tasting various cuisines. Surely, everybody has a wish-list of food which they want to try atleast once in their lifetime but are unaware of the best places to visit. If you are a gourmet who wants healthy or unhealthy food suggestions then there is a famous & successful food blogger for you, Faraaz Siddiqui. Faraaz started a page named ‘Spoonful of Hyderabad’ with the tagline ‘Celebrating food that binds us together’ almost four and a half years ago on the 27th of Feb 2017. Spoonful of Hyderabad is all about uncovering the best and newest eateries in town. This has now snowballed into Spoonful Digital Media, which is a platform where all the exciting food brands are promoted. This Digital Media company also provides end to end marketing solutions for your business needs, with the best teams for content creation, Google Ads & SEO. Now, Faraaz wants Spoonful to be recognized as a brand, not just a company. He wants its name to be among the top 5 Digital Media houses in India. Besides being a successful entrepreneur, Faraaz is a software engineer by qualification.

In this era of social media and with the rise of Instagram, foodies learned to appraise their food tales to the world. Insta has become the perfect platform for people to share their dining experiences. Millions of food bloggers post cool pictures of dishes they savour in new places. Faraaz began blogging when things like Instagram blogging did not become mainstream and was still an undiscovered sector. But he stuck to what he started and today has become one of the most successful Instagram bloggers of India and secured no 1 place in Hyderabad. Faraaz’s Instagram feed is a paragon of scrumptious pictures, and you will love the food posted by him. Have a look at his posts on Instagram but don’t forget to eat something before to doing so, because his food blogs are going to make you ravenous and salivate. If becoming more stupendous with every passing year were to have a name, it would be Faraaz Siddiqui. In this digital era, Faraaz is 5th amongst the top 21 emerging entrepreneurs of 2021.

Well, everybody knows that Hyderabad is famous for its delicious sweets. If you have ever been to Hyderabad then you must know that it is known for Hyderabadi delightful ‘Meethas’ such as Qubani ka Meetha, Jauzi Halwa, Shahi Tukda and many more. These sweets are recipes that have been carried forward as a legacy by families from many generations. Similarly, Faraaz is taking the secret recipe of sweets given by his ancestors to the tongue and stomach of the people. This 26 years old eminent food lover started a sweet brand named “Naqsh” (a cloud-kitchen) along with his mother, Farhana Siddiqui. Through this brand, they satiate people’s sweet tooth with a recipe that was inherited from their forefathers. They sell five varieties of sweets which are Jaali, Boat ka Halwa, Ashrafi, Maske ke lauz & Paan. These recipes they say have been in their families for over 120 years.

Undoubtedly, 2020 has been the worst year for everybody in the world. Food bloggers have been affected by Covid-19 by not being able to explore new places to eat out & take pictures. They had to change the way they functioned and created content for their followers. Faraaz, being a nimble entrepreneur, possesses the ability to bounce back and grow despite of the curveballs thrown by life. He came up with the idea of posting self-made food videos and pictures for his viewers and followers and named this sequence ‘Spoonful Eatery’. A lot of people showed their participation by sharing their food recipes and using the hashtag #SpoonfulEatery. Apart from this, during the pandemic, an initiative was also taken by Spoonful named ‘TOGETHER WE CARE’ to help people who were seeking help for basic needs after losing their jobs and families.

Faraaz, a popular Indian blogger has come a long way from 100 followers to 1000s and from 1 person to a team of 15 talented people. “It’s been a roller coaster ride for me, which was full of ups and downs but now seeing ‘SPOONFUL’ gracing the streets of Hyderabad feels unrealistic to me and kind of a dream that has come true. I am truly grateful for all the love and affection that my Instagram family has shown me”.
