Executive Voice
Find Your Voice with Lisa Taitelman

Lisa does not lead from the corner office or the top seat in the boardroom, instead, she guides women through the coastal mountain ranges of the Santa Monica Mountains. Lisa’s mission is all about the journey, not the destination. It is about building community, it is about connection, it is about living your most authentic self.
“I have always felt a resonance with the outdoors and wanted to create a transformative, positive space with other people who also love nature and could come together and connect on a deeper level, while also grounding themselves in the outdoors,” The vision? To build a community of others seeking to share growth, self-discovery, laughter, and tears, all while feeding off each other’s energy set. Each week is set with positive intentions with other like-minded fierce people all through the great outdoors who crave more out of life.
Lisa is the founder of the “Follow Your Trail” movement, she guides groups into the wilderness where she facilitates their journey of self-discovery and personal growth. As they progress through her 6-week hiking program, they abandon self-limiting beliefs and reinvent themselves to lead a life of joy and fulfillment, and truth.
Inspired by her own journey of self-discovery through hiking after losing her mother to cancer, Lisa needed to find out what hiking had to teach her. She went back to school in her early 50s and pursued a Holistic MBA, this is where she found her trail, being among a tribe of like-minded change-makers, lightworkers, and spiritual healers. Today, as a transformational coach, aka Trailblazer, she now educates and inspires others through the healing power of nature.
While she’d raised two wonderful children and had a very happy marriage, she still could not shift the feeling that something was missing from her life. She wanted more and I felt she had more to contribute and so she began the quest to find her authentic voice.
It wasn’t all smooth sailing. In the early days of her holistic training and starting up her business, she was consumed by a number of self-limiting beliefs. She was 53 years old when she started her degree and had been a stay-at-home mom for 19 years prior to that, she didn’t think anyone would take her seriously in her new venture as a health coach. She really struggled to trust and believe in herself. She was looking to others for their validation and opinions and this was all getting in the way of sending her personal message out into the world.
As soon as she started showing up as herself and speaking from her heart, she found it. She found her voice, and once she started to trust and believe in herself and listen to that voice, everything changed for her. In fact, things changed for others too because by finding her voice, she was able to provide a safe space for other women to find their own voices.
Lisa now inspires others by living the example that it is never too late to reinvent yourself, free yourself from self-limiting beliefs and live a life of joy and fulfillment, even in the toughest of times.
Lisa helps others tap into the voice inside and access strength and power they didn’t know they had. “It is truly magical to witness this all taking place against the backdrop of our glorious natural surroundings. I am so proud to have created a ripple effect of deep, meaningful connection between others who want more from life”.
Lisa has always felt pulled to be a leader. For her, leadership is not about the individual, rather it is about being the person who facilitates a team of people to work together in a supportive, compassionate and inspiring environment. As she says, “working together we can really pull the greatness out of each other”!
One of her favorite success stories is about one of her hikers who was struggling to find joy in her life. She really struggled with it. Mid-way through the program she had her “aha” moment when she realized that baking (something she had put on the back burner) provided her with so much joy. When she finished the program she started up a catering business. It was so awesome to watch her grow and find that passion and zest for life again.
Witnessing the transformations in each person, week by week, is the most magical feeling of all. It is really why she is doing this work. It always brings her back to her ‘WHY” which is to build a sisterhood that discovers joy and fulfillment through the healing power of nature. “Every single one of us has the power within us to change our lives at any moment, it is really up to us and it is a decision, it all comes down to mindset and how we chose to speak to ourselves”.
“I always ask the participants the one thing they learned most from the “Follow Your Trail” experience and they usually give the same answer: a deeper connection with others and knowing that they are not alone in their struggles. ”
Her favorite motto? “GO WHERE YOU FEEL ALIVE BECAUSE THAT IS WHERE THE MAGIC HAPPENS”!
