Executive Voice
“From Bankruptcy to Building an Empire”, The tale of Erika Taylor

Erika K. Taylor is an award-winning enterprise sales and management executive with over 17 years of experience in leading sales for Fortune 500 international and privately held organizations. She has been responsible for managing multi-million-dollar territories across the country.
Throughout her career, Erika has closed and managed over $350 million in business revenue and has consistently broken company sales records. She has also achieved numerous awards as a top performer. Some of these accolades include: 17 exceptional achievement awards, 3 “Account Executive of the Year” awards and two awards for closing over $1.3 million in net new sales.
Erika was living what many would consider the “American Dream,” until her world came crumbling down in 2009. She found herself divorced with a young child, her home in foreclosure as a result of predatory lending, thousands of dollars in debt and laid off from her job. Times were so tough, that she had to file for bankruptcy and move in with her parents for 5 years.
During that time, she focused on saving, repaired her own credit, and tapped into her entrepreneurial spirit. She also took her career by storm and began to shatter the glass ceiling in corporate America. Within 10 years, she received promotion after promotion and ultimately multiplied her income by six.
As a single mom who has experienced many trials and tribulations, Erika knows firsthand, the importance of having multiple streams of income. In 2008, she founded Taylor Made Branding, which offered resume writing and career coaching services. In 2014, she founded Taylor Made Property Management, which provided property restoration services in the city of Detroit.
Her most recent endeavor was created after COVID 19 ravished the world as we knew it, and she discovered a need in the marketplace. Lashalytics is the only luxury lash brand exclusively dedicated to every day wear for professional women. They are disrupting the longstanding stereotype that lashes are inappropriate in professional settings; and are committed to helping women “lash with class.”
After witnessing several friends and family members battle adversities such as breast cancer, divorce, abusive relationships, and depression; Erika is committed to using Lashalytics to give back in a way that is near and dear to her heart. She believes that when a woman looks and feels her best, there is nothing in this world that she cannot conquer. By providing makeovers and self-esteem workshops, she will use her brand to empower women to believe in themselves and make the world their oyster.
