Kevin says that he was born and raised in a Nigerian household where education holds a crucial place. However, his family was not satisfied when he chose entrepreneurship over college education or a traditional job. ‘Constant doubt from family and friends created a growing callus to how I reacted to negative feedback and expectations.’ adds Joseph. He also constant NO’s through sales pitches, rejection emails, and more. Kevin says that he received at least ten no’s before receiving a yes.

Kevin says that if someone isn’t making revenue of at least $30,000+per month in their business, they do not need to hire a marketing agency to run their ads. He says that marketing agencies have cookie-cutter solutions for most brands. So, most agencies do not have the financial time to create a fully customized solution for your brand. They face a cash crunch after being locked in a 60-90 day retainer of $4k+ for the agency & $3k+ in ads and not getting the desired results. Therefore, they have to fire the agency & start from ground zero with a solution. Instead, they should familiarize themselves with their marketing and create a framework to bring in a circle of continuous buyers coming in and out of their brand.

Kevin’s journey towards becoming a successful entrepreneur

Kevin Joseph started with high ticket affiliate marketing at the age of 21 years. He was determined to make his investment back and grow in the online space when he made a 5 figure investment to join the affiliate company. After attaining considerable success, Joseph decided to step away from affiliate marketing and focus 100% on Facebook paid to advertise. He worked with multiply niches, from a dentist, real estate to exotic dog breeders. After a couple of years, Kevin partnered with a start-up digital marketing agency to run their e-Com clients’ Facebook & Instagram ads. He spent millions of dollars running their clients’ ads and gained accelerated learning growth to digital marketing.

The creation of CMO in a Box

After gaining a considerable amount of experience, Joseph began working directly with e-Com brands and helping them to scale. However, he realized that people are being overcharged and getting terrible service from the industry. Therefore, Kevin created an all-inclusive consulting agency to be the angel over entrepreneurs’ shoulders & show them how to scale their brands. ‘That’s how I came down to my accelerator for e-Com brands and coaches: CMO in a Box.’ says Kevin.
