How do you book more clients as an online health or life coach? LEARN SALES & MARKETING with Hailey Rowe

Social media has changed the game for how people do business and has been instrumental in the transformation of many industries around the world. The coaching industry is no different. Social media and other digital platforms have become the new venue for health and life coaches to market their services. It also offers a new way of coaching online.

The new technologies provide coaches with an inexpensive way to work with clients. As a result, the coaching industry is booming… So, how can health coaches & life coaches stand out more than ever before? How can they book more clients? Leading Sales and Marketing Strategist Hailey Rowe offers some answers to getting more clients. Rowe is the founder of The Health Coach Nation Podcast & haileyrowe.com, which provides marketing and business coaching and Done For You Services for health coaches and wellness professionals.

Who Is Hailey Rowe?

Rowe is a sales and marketing strategist who helps health coaches and wellness professionals gain more traffic, client bookings and closing more sales.

Rowe started her journey in the coaching industry in 2010. She shared that she was fascinated by the wellness profession. “I secured all the certifications. I could not contain my excitement in starting my wellness coaching programs,” she continued. Rowe began selling coaching sessions for $50 per session, but with no success. “When I first started coaching, I only got one client for the first six months of my business. At that point, I was perplexed about why it was happening. I had all the right prerequisites to coach. I had a burning desire to succeed, all the necessary certifications, and sales experience, but my business was not clicking,” Rowe narrated. As she described it, her business was a mess. “At that time, I had no social media engagement, no systems in place. I was just a frazzled health coach sitting on her laptop all day aimlessly trying to navigate the online world,” she added.

Rowe shared that there was a period that she was literally unemployed and only had one client, who was uncommitted at that. “That situation made me realize that certification programs were not equipping me on how to grow my business. It was frustrating,” she noted.

With the drive to learn how to make her business work, Rowe became intrigued in learning marketing and sales. Rowe got her Bachelor’s Degree in entrepreneurship. “In school, I was given many opportunities to mingle with entrepreneurs who were doing incredibly well. So, it helped me develop the right marketing and sales framework to grow my business,” she continued. A few mentors, education programs, and internships later, Hailey started working in business development and marketing for several top wellness startups to get more “hands-on” experience.

“Once I implemented the missing pieces, I got my business running on the right track. My business completely changed from being inconsistent & overwhelming to profitable & scaling,” Rowe said. That is why Rowe is committed to teaching health and life coaches and wellness professionals how to go beyond their certifications. She wants to guide them to build a profitable coaching business with online visibility, consistent clients, and sales. “I am passionate about helping them address missing pieces that hinder the growth of their coaching business. I teach them about how to rock their online message & presence, find & book their ideal clients, and confidently make sales without mindset barriers.

Touchpoints And Engagement

Rowe shared that it can take a lot of touchpoints to make a sale. In the digital world, touchpoints are engagements of a customer with a brand online. “According to HubSpot, 80% of your leads will need 12 touchpoints before they buy.  On average, you must connect with your potential client eight to ten times before making a purchase. So, we can see that it requires many touchpoints before you make a sale. Keeping clients engaged is crucial in making a sale,” Rowe explained.

Rowe outlined that the first step in making a sale is engagement. “One-way coaches can nurture their leads on social media is by sending welcome messages to people whenever they follow them. Some might ask if that is important. Statistics show that entrepreneurs who personally engage with their audience make 40% more sales than those who do not. Making a follow up is also important. Half of the buyers will go to the first person who made a follow-up,” she continued.

Rowe said that when someone asks a question on social media, it is ideal if you answer quickly. Based on HubSpot, the average response time for most businesses is 44 hours, but if an entrepreneur can respond within five minutes 5 mins, it could increase his chances of closing by up to nine times.

“How do you keep your social community engaged? Over the years, I have learned that asking a question is the best way to start a conversation. And most of the time, a question could lead to a touchpoint. Remember, the more touchpoints you have with a client, the more you increase your chances of making a sale,” Rowe explained.

Bottomline

A satisfied client noted that the knowledge she learned from Hailey Rowe is “priceless.”  “Hailey is an amazing mentor, and all of her programs are perfect for wellness professionals and health coaches,” the client remarked. Rowe is happy and honored that she is helping transform the businesses of many health coaches, life coaches, and wellness professionals.

“I look forward to each day because I am determined to support more and more wellness professionals, and life and health coaches with becoming leaders in their field, getting the clients they deserve, and rocking their sales. Sales and marketing are the key players in taking your coaching from a hobby to an actual business. We as coaches have no choice but to learn about it if we want to make our impact,” Rowe said.
