How A Couple In New Jersey Is Positively Disrupting The Lifestyle Choices We All Make

A school teacher from New Jersey paired up in love with a television star/chef from Gordon Ramsay’s Masterchef: Legends, and you insert in a social media feed filled with laughter, fitness, health and tips for love-making… you get JerseyStyle!
“JerseyStyle”, the name given to Michael Newman and his wife Basia, has been a viral hit on social media since the couple decided to be outspoken and start evolving and influencing those in New York and around the United States to make better choices for themselves.
With the fanbase of TV, and the love and support of their hometown, the JerseyStyle lovers spoke to us exclusively about how their brand has disrupted multiple industries and changed the social media game!
  1. How did you decide you wanted to branch out from just cooking and more into a lifestyle brand with JerseyStyle?

    The way we decided to branch out our lifestyle brand, JerseyStyle from food/fitness was because of the oversaturated social media market in those categories. I, Michael have always had a talent and passion for cooking going all the way back to when I was a young adult working in the restaurant industry washing dishes by hand. That is when I discovered my passion of love and cooking. Fitness has also been a huge part of my life since the same time period that I began in the culinary field as they go hand in hand. Now, moving forward to 2015 when Basia and I began our lifestyle brand, JerseyStyle is when we decided that we needed to figure out how to captivate and grab the attention of the rapidly evolving social media world. That is the time when we decided to expand our expertise and become certified in multiple genres of coaching. These genres include but are not limited to are life coaching, relationship, matchmaking, and tantric practices. All these combined create what is now known as JerseyStyle.

  2. What types of things do you hope people learn when tuning into your social channels?

    The types of things that we hope people learn when tuning into our social media channels is how to love themselves for who they are and not just what people think they are.  Because if you don’t love and accept yourself, you’ll never be able to love others. We also pride ourselves on being authentically real, honest, and transparent because we know when people are tuning into our social media, they will be able to feel our positive energy.

  3. What type of people can most benefit from following you both?

    The type of people that can benefit most from following us varies depending on what lifestyle skills they are lacking. It can be anywhere from novices that want to learn basic cooking skills, people looking for fitness and wellness inspiration, or even learning how to use their energies to create universal tantric connections in the same way we do. These are just a few examples of how people can benefit from us.

  4. How do you feel or know that your lessons and tips have disrupted the health and wellness industries? 

We are extremely proud and grateful that our lifestyle brand, JerseyStyle is helping change what people’s perception of the health and wellness industries should be. What we mean is that food, fitness, and tantric breathing practices all come together to create a higher level of consciousness. Our lessons and teachings have opened the door to a whole new world of what people think typical health and wellness should be. Thinking outside of the box, communicating with your partner, and being mentally open all contribute to our style of self-love, which leads to the ultimate goal, pure happiness!

5. What’s next for JerseyStyle in the business world and what is your ultimate goal for the brand?

Being CEO’s of our LifeStyle brand, JerseyStyle LeRisqué, it opens up many different opportunities to help others. What we believe is next for us is hosting various workshops such as introduction to Tantric practices, LIVE cooking classes, fitness workouts, which also helps promote a healthier sex life, relationship coaching, etc. We believe that combining all these practices is blazing a new trail in what people consider to be a healthy lifestyle. We also see JerseyStyle being a leading brand internationally.  We also envision ourselves hosting a lifestyle show, traveling the world, discovering and tasting new and exotic foods in helping people make the connection between how these foods can help them in their own personal lives. By doing this, we believe we will be able to help others achieve their life goals.
