Women Who Disrupt

How Adriana And Sabrina Santostefano Are Making An Impact In A Male-Dominated Industry

When people think about cars, their initial thought is to connect them to men because the automobile and repair industry has been dominated by men for so long. However, some notable women are disrupting that existing industry model by being changemakers who serve as an example that women are just as capable as men.

Adriana and Sabrina Santostefano are two prime examples of women who are making their way through a male-dominated industry. While they run their grandfather’s collision shop, Santostefano Autobody, they are also connecting with other women in hopes of inspiring, educating, and motivating them to focus on their personal development as well as their business development.

Taking Over The Business

Since they were young, the Santostefano twins always knew that they wanted to go into business together. They idolized their grandfather because not only did he do well for himself as a business owner, he was liked and appreciated by many in their local community.

After graduating college in 2013, the twins decided to take on their grandfather’s collision shop.

“We decided to take over his business that has been around since 1973. We

figured instead of reinventing the wheel, we would keep his legacy going and growing,” the Santostefano twins said.

But when they stepped into their family business, they realized that it was two generations behind and needed modern improvements. Wasting no time, Adriana and Sabrina revamped the image of the business by investing money into state-of-the-art equipment, remodeling the exterior, training, and marketing.

Eventually, their investments paid off as more people continued to support their family business, allowing the twins to work with and meet many clients.

“We are very blessed that our community continues to support our family business and is known as one of the leading shops in our town,” the twins said.

They added that their success is a result of a great team behind their business and the support from the people around them.

Venturing Into Another Industry

Adriana and Sabrina’s step into the automobile repair industry is just the beginning of the path that they laid before themselves. They always saw their family business as an opportunity and viewed their collision shop as their nucleus business to launch them into other future ventures.

Now seasoned with marketing knowledge and experience, the Santostefano twins are diving into the wine industry as well. But this isn’t the only industry where they want to be successful at.

The twins plan on growing their business to achieve their dream of becoming multi-shop owners, growing their wine division, and enhancing their motivational platform for women in business and self-development.
