How Andy Jang Turned A Pandemic Setback Into An Opportunity Working With Law Firms

First it was the lockdown phase when it all started when indoor dining wasn’t possible. Then came the mask regulations. But for many business owners, it wasn’t just the inconvenience of it all. For many business owners, it was all about “how am I supposed to run my business like this?”

Like many business owners during the first phase of the COVID-19 pandemic, Andy Jang took a big hit. At the time, his company Eclektic Marketing LLC was just a social media marketing agency that worked with many brick & mortar businesses like restaurants, nightlife entertainment venues, and healthcare clinics. When the pandemic forced many brick & mortar businesses to shut down, he lost almost all of his clients overnight since they had no need for marketing.

Instead of giving up hope, he looked for another approach to pivot his business model by focusing on one specific industry.

Going From A Generalist to a Specialist

“One day, I went out for a drive and noticed that there were billboards everywhere but almost 99% of them were advertisements for law firms” he says. Despite the lockdown, he knew that people still needed legal services and that there were better ways to reach them when everyone else was forced to stay home.

By offering social media advertisements to law firms, he was able to position himself perfectly when many law firms still needed to get new clients. He decided to take it a step further by offering a pay-per-lead business model as a monthly subscription since many businesses were uncertain about their return on their investment when it came to spending extra money on advertising.

“The pandemic created uncertainty and when people are uncertain, they often don’t buy. I needed to present an irresistible offer like guaranteed leads especially when I was entering a new niche within the digital marketing space. That is when I decided to create my other company Injury Leads” he says.

Building Up Injury Leads

“One of my very first client was a named Clay, an attorney based in Louisiana. We would talk for hours every week discussing how to improve our marketing campaigns and eventually, I flew out there just to meet him. Funny thing is when I met him in-person for the first time, it felt like I already knew him. We were like close friends even though he was much older than me. Having a great relationship with your clients is amazing but also an important key to success” he says.

According to their website, Injury Leads specializes in offering pre-qualified leads to personal injury law firms with a money-back guarantee. By leveraging the social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube, Injury Leads is able to reach about 250M+ Americans nationwide. Compared to traditional forms of advertisements, digital marketing offers a more targeted approach using A.I such as the Facebook Pixel or Google’s Tag Manager.

The company is also utilizing cool technology such as phone number verifications, a technology often used by large corporations such as banks or other tech companies.

In just 3 months time, he was able to build up InjuryLeads.co into a 6-figure agency during the pandemic and on track for 7-figures by the end of 2021.

“I’m really proud of what I’ve built during the pandemic. Not only does it feel good to make money but it’s a testament to what anyone can do utilizing their current skill sets during the pandemic to adapt to the new world. I believe anyone can do this” he says.

The company has since then scaled to working with other types of law firms such as Bankruptcy firms and Disability firms.

Never Give Up

According to Andy Jang, he believes that there’s one special ingredient that makes any business succeed aside from having the right team and that is perseverance. “The power of not quitting is huge and so underrated. You have to have and immense belief in yourself, the company you represent, and the product or service you offer to the marketplace” he says.
