How Brad Ahn, Founder and CEO of Ahn Fire Digital, Found Success Through Sports Publishing

The sports industry is one of the most lucrative in the world, with billions of dollars in revenue being generated each year. The opportunities to make a name for oneself are endless, and they don’t have to involve being a professional athlete. Individuals can find a range of different careers in the sports industry. A great example of such a company is Ahn Fire Digital, founded and owned by Brad Ahn. With a great focus on providing readers with transparent and high-quality news and information on different topics within the sports industry, Ahn Fire Digital is making a name for itself as a leading brand.
Almost a Decade of Publishing
Having started as a blog for updates on the Miami Heat, Brad’s company has come a long way since its creation in 2011. What began as Heat Nation has branched out to multiple other digital publications, including Cavaliers Nation, Dolphin Nation, and Lakers Daily. On top of these team-based publications, in 2019, Ahn Fire Digital scaled to cover all 30 NBA and all 32 NFL teams, a move that quickly skyrocketed the business to success.
Within no time, the company’s social media following began increasing. They now reach over 50 million impressions monthly across all platforms and earn over 10 million pageviews each month. This has earned Ahn Fire Digital the reputation of one of the fastest growing sports publications in business, which isn’t easily achievable in such an enormous industry.
A Team of Employees That Strengthen the Business
Brad is the company’s CEO, but he’s also in charge of managing operations and developing business. Over the years of scaling Ahn Fire Digital, he’s gathered a team of carefully selected writers and editors who have special qualifications in the sports journalism industry. These individuals are located around the globe, though Brad’s core team is located, along with the company, in Los Angeles.
This group of individuals has played a significant part in scaling the company, and Brad stresses the importance of dedicating resources to assemble a high quality staff and establish infrastructure. Without surrounding oneself with those who are equally as dedicated and hardworking, the business would have trouble growing in any sort of way.
Final Thoughts
Moving forward, Ahn Fire Digital has big plans as a company. The eventual goal is to scale to the point of becoming a household name, much like fellow sports publishing brand Bleacher Report. This will only be achieved through continued hard work, and Brad has proven that he’s an expert in doing precisely that.
