There is plenty of research that shows a rise in sustainable business in both developed and developing economies. Consumers are growing conscious of the fact that the brands and businesses bear equal responsibility for positive change as the world governments. Jonathan Tjoa Algreen is a serial entrepreneur, impact investor, and advocate of sustainable solutions in running businesses.

Jonathan is a successful businessman and investor, who has decades of experience in working in numerous industries. From a young age, Jonathan desired to create a positive impact in the world, and today he is living the dream with his thoughtful and mindful approach to business. As the owner of a sustainable and socially responsible luxury fashion brand, 1 People, Jonathan believes that both consumers and companies must adapt to an ethical and sustainable fashion. And instead of blindly following fast fashion trends, they must make socially responsible and fair choices. Sustainable materials and eco-friendly solutions must be favored and be the new fashion statement.

Three P’s – People, Planet, and Profit

Jonathan strives to disrupt the business industry with his well-knitted business approach woven by the three P’s: people, planet, and profit. According to Jonathan, the current focus of the brand is to strike a harmonious balance between these three. The company takes great care of its employees and strives to protect the environment. Jonathan and the team make sure that all suppliers ensure fair and happy workplace conditions and live up to the standard of sustainability.

Keeping sustainability in consideration, manufacturers with good waste and water consumption management are chosen. All recyclable items like cardboard, glass, plastics, and metals are recycled by the company. Also, all fabric waste is collected and set to a re-spinning mill in Java, Indonesia where new yarn and fabric are produced from it.

Reduction in the use of harmful chemicals and enhanced use of renewable energy is also the top priority of the company. For Jonathan, financial success is the result of his commitment to creating a better world through business and mindful leadership.

Aside from running a sustainable and eco-friendly fashion label, Jonathan is also the owner of Impact Business Investment Group. The company invests in new and innovative businesses and entrepreneurs. Since its initiation, the company has created and invested in several businesses, sometimes even taken them from scratch and scaled them into successful businesses.

IBIG is not only providing support for startups and social entrepreneurs but also has two additional goals, which set it apart from other investment companies. The company provides monetary support to the community by giving back hundreds of thousands in charity and creating green infrastructure for businesses. Jonathan strives to change the world for the better through impact-driven business. His sustainable business model and approach are truly unparalleled.
