How Judi Castro Used Her Background in Aesthetic Nursing To Create Skincare Brands

There are numerous sayings about beauty. Many of these talk about how beauty goes beyond the surface and it’s what’s inside that counts the most. Although it talks some truth, there’s no harm in giving attention to our physical appearance, especially if it gives us the confidence boost that we need to accomplish our goals.  

Judi Castro, the co-founder of Estrella Aesthetics and Surgical Arts in Corona, California, is aware of the impact of being pleased with your physical appearance. 

Using her 20 years of experience in the aesthetic industry, Judi established a medical spa and created skincare lines that aim to make people feel beautiful and ultimately good about themselves. 

Her Driving Force 

“My passion for aesthetics began at a very young age when I suffered from hyperpigmentation due to melasma caused by pregnancy,” Judi shared. 

As a woman, Judi knows how others like her can be very hard on themselves and their lack of self-esteem. That and her experience with melasma led Judi to pursue a career in aesthetics. 

“With my background as an ICU Nurse, transport nursing, and trauma nurse, I furthered my education in aesthetic medicine and made the flip to my true passion for aesthetic nursing,” Judi said. 

Because of her decision of gaining more knowledge and experience about aesthetic medicine, Judi was able to develop two different skincare lines: JC Complete Skin Health and Beflawless Skin. She also started a cosmetic line called Beflawless cosmetics. 

“Estrella Aesthetics is a medical spa where we help people be a better version of themselves. On the other hand, JC Complete Skin Health is a pharmaceutical skincare line to correct and treat the skin; Beflawless cosmetics is a skincare line designed to help treat everyone’s skin needs; lastly, Beflawless cosmetics is a cosmetic line with different makeup products to make you feel beautiful,” Judi shared. 

Dealing With Work 

With her medical spa and skincare brands, Judi has a lot of things on her plate. She admits that running multiple companies will always be challenging, but she has a great staff around her to help weather the obstacles in her way. 

But when things get too overwhelming for her, Judi has a way of handling the situation. 

“For me, when I am burnt out, I love to go on a vacation just take a few days away to relax,” she said.
