How Lux Watch Supply Is Leveling The Playing Field For Watch Lovers Worldwide
Bradley Drake founded Lux Watch Supply with one goal in mind: put high-end timepieces in the hands of their customers for a fraction of the cost. The manner by which they would achieve this was via a raffle system, starting at a mere $77 USD. Since its inception, Bradley and Lux Watch Supply have given away nearly $4,000,000 of prizes, and in the process, have given back to charities with a portion of all ticket sales.
On a weekly basis, Lux Watch Supply hosts 1 to 2 raffles featuring brands ranging from Rolex, Audemars Piguet, Patek Phillippe, and more. Any watch lover will tell you these are the best of the best, boasting estimated values of $15,000 to $50,000+. Once the competition closes, Bradley selects a winners via a randomizing software on Instagram and Facebook Live. The authenticity and integrity of the company has always been a paramount priority.
“Especially in the beginning, with our first 20 – 30 winners, I really made an effort to hand-deliver the prizes. It obviously put a face to the brand, but also instilled confidence in our brand,” says Bradley. “The simplicity and authenticity of the company, paired with the watches we’ve been able to send out, have made this a success.”
Previous to Lux Supply Group, Bradley worked in recruiting via his company “Talent Club London”. They focused on high end hiring, finding talent for large companies, startups and VC’s alike. Wanting a change in his life, and always being a fan of luxury watches, Bradley decided to put his entrepreneurial experience to the test in launching his latest endeavor in a space that was struggling.
“The idea for Lux Supply Group came when I was having a hard time selling a flat of mine. I had the idea to raffle it off. There were a few companies trying to do real estate raffles in the UK, but none of them had really taken off.” says Bradley. Despite the stagnant industry, Bradley saw the potential, and decided to combine his love for luxury watches with this simple concept.
After nearly $3,400,000 in delivered timepieces to average people, it’s safe to say that Bradley’s concept was a success. Lux Supply Group is now branching out to other categories. Their most recent iteration is raffling off a brand new Tesla Model 3 Performance. They’ve also partnered with Ecologi, with a goal of planting a tree for each ticket sold – they’re on track for 100,000 this year.
