How Shana O’Brien Became The Successful Real Estate Professional, She’s Known Today

Shana O'Brien

Shana O’Brien is the owner and designated broker of Cascadia NW Real Estate, a boutique brokerage in Vancouver, WA. She manages over 40 service-oriented agents, who all love what they do. Serving their community is a special passion for all their agents; they do monthly projects in which they do their best to give back to the neighbors. When Shana isn’t running the brokerage, she helps people buy and sell homes and provides real estate guidance and advice to all her clients. She is passionate about what she does and is happy to be a part of a community of realtors who value good work and good service.

She loves working on her mid-century bungalow. She has three dogs, and when she isn’t busy in Real Estate, she and her family go out and camp on the WA coast. She is a dedicated realtor that is licensed in both Oregon and Washington. But she primarily focuses on serving the city of Vancouver in Southwest Washington. They have several dually licensed agents in their brokerage, providing multi-state service & support.

“Vancouver is right across the river from Portland, OR, making it ideally located close to the big city, but far enough away to still have a smaller town feel. Our surrounding towns of Camas, Battle Ground, Ridgefield, Brush Prairie are much the same,” Shana said. Her area is situated very close to the Columbia River Gorge and is just a few hour drive from the Oregon & Washington coasts. “Mt. Hood provides us easy access to winter sports and summer mountain excursions. Our climate provides the ideal setting for local breweries and vineyards. SW Washington and the Portland Metropolitan Area are full of great restaurants, museums, sports teams, and a thriving theater and music scene. I can’t think of a reason to NOT move here!” she added.

Shana works with Residential Buyers and Sellers; she also works with Investment clients at times. They usually refer their Commercial clients to a trusted Commercial Broker. Many of their agents within the brokerage also has specialties, like working with First-time Homebuyers or Seniors looking to downsize and selling or finding farm and acreage properties or manufactured homes. All their agents are prepared to handle any client needs, and if their client needs something more specialized, they will likely have an agent perfectly suited to help the struggling clients.

When asked about the current state of the real estate market, she says that real estate in Southwest Washington is constantly fluctuating. While inventory is minimal and the market is competitive, Cascadia NW Real Estate is ready and prepared no matter when a client needs to buy or sell. Being a professional, Shana imparts a few pieces of advice for future home buyers. She advises that they should research the area they want to purchase in or research the market if they are preparing to sell. Shana says that it is a great decision to find a trusted advisor in real estate who will take the time to answer all their questions and help them plan out the steps they need to take. “Cascadia NW Real Estate would love to advise you; just give us a call!” she said.
