Our thoughts, actions, and feelings determine the path we follow in life. If we have self-doubts, then we will never get the strength to step out and embrace entrepreneurship. Also, if we have limitations in our minds and feel that we can’t become better people or lead better lives, then we have, in a sense, put ourselves in a prison of our making.
Charisma is an entrepreneur with a purpose to make the world a better place. She is the owner of an online coaching platform known as 1 Day At A Time. Aside from being a life coach, Charisma is also a restaurant owner, speaker, and writer.
Charisma has managed to create her dream life. Her journey through life helped shape her into a versatile entrepreneur with a resilient mindset and a positive attitude. From a young age, Charisma had an outgoing personality. Her driven mindset led her to train full-time; if she was not in the gym, she would be on stage performing. By the age of 10, she had already received national-level awards. But Charisma wasn’t just athletic. By age 11, she tutored a young girl with a disability and by age 15, she was managing a large communication job at a salon and spa. Growing up Charisma was very ambitious and great in school that by the of 17, she already had completed two years of college. It was apparent that Charisma by a young age thought differently from the rest. Although she was a great student and an overachiever, she struggled with bullying and self-doubt from time to time. But, she never allowed the situation to hold her back from being her most authentic self.
Changing The Way, We Think, Act, & Feel
What is the power of your thoughts? Well, psychologists state that ideas are connected to emotions and influence feelings. If we can be aware of what we are thinking, then we can control our emotions. The challenge for most people, however, is in identifying and changing automatic negative thoughts. This hurdle is what Charisma helps her clients overcome. She speaks about real-life stories and shares advice in a unique way.
At only 22 years, Charisma has had to overcome numerous challenges to reach where she is now. She went through a domestic violence situation that landed her in the hospital on an Easter morning. Charisma recalls how doubtful she was of her ability to overcome the heartbreak and the pain. It took months of therapy for her to heal. During the treatment, she learned about codependency and how to develop herself as a human. She then challenged herself to do something she didn’t think she could do – live alone independently.
There she was, 19 years old living in her one-bedroom apartment in Tampa, beginning her new journey as she finished college. Charisma started her new journey by attending USF college. This was exciting for her as she wasn’t too close to home but also not too far away, she joined the college cheer team, got a job at a hotel downtown and fell in love with Boba tea. After working in the hotel for a while, she realized that she was being taken advantage of. She finished her work there and vowed never to work in a job like that again. Charisma never wanted to be in a position where others controlled her time and energy.
Charisma’s life is proof of the power behind changing our thoughts. She chose not to get sucked into the negative thoughts and experiences in her life. Instead, she focused on her potential and her desire to realize her goals. Charisma has become an inspiration as she is proof that you can become successful and be sexy. She has managed to merge a successful modeling career with coaching. Charisma attributes this success to a change in mindset.
Charisma started a blog in early 2018, where she shares life lessons and strategies for personal development. She writes on a variety of topics but her true passion is self-growth, which she chose to focus on. Charisma is certified in coaching and speaking as well as a certified personal trainer. She manages her coaching business while still influencing others in modeling.
We all need someone who will meet us where we are in life and motivate us to become better. Charisma has helped hundreds of people get out of their comfort zone and pursue their dream life. If you are curious to learn more, then check out her website.
