How This Self Made Entrepreneur Is Disrupting The Fashion & E-Commerce Industry With High-Level Design & Branding

The E-commerce business model is rapidly on the surge with the emergence of technology and the drift in the population interest in looking for information in the digital space. It’s also for the love of easy processes such as delivery and confidence about a purchase decision that people find necessary to purchase online after thorough research.

With over 4.66 billion active internet users as of October 2030, according to research by Statista, it’s only right to venture into e-commerce or any other online business model. E-commerce over the last decade has been tapped and thus could be challenging to steer through as a start-up, especially with fewer skills to build your business in the digital space. A self-made entrepreneur, a person of significant influence, and the designer of blvck, Julian O’hayon has made waves in the e-commerce and fashion sector with a high level of design and branding, and thus purposeful to learn his ways.

Julian O’hayon

At the age of 29, he is the co-founder of Blvck Paris, a firm that creates black designs on lifestyle and has excellent dominance in the fashion and e-commerce industry. He has also founded two lifestyle brands, White and Black, and earns up to $500,000 per month.

Julian O’hayon began his entrepreneurial life when still in high school at 15, where he founded a digital agency (Anckor). He learned coding and web-design all by himself, which he truly enjoyed, and began making his pocket money by designing websites. At the age of 20, Julian had over 100 clients globally. Concurrently, he was completing his degree in Business Engineering and also engaging in the tech start-up scene. In all projects he took, he whetted his focus on beautiful yet minimalistic and functional design, which was his distinctive signature.

It was after growing his social media audience that he began applying his black stamp to household brands. His designs went viral on social media, stimulating followers worldwide, making him aware he had a concept he wished to explore. Out of his obsession and love for the color black did Blvck Paris emerge at the end of 2017.

Design and Branding

Julian cannot stress enough the importance of investing in branding. It’s about curating a unique and robust image for your brand that is distinct to people’s eyes. It could be from the visuals, the theme, catchy slogans, memorable logos. Black Paris prides itself in a strong brand which is everything in black, from products, captions, posts, web design.

He further believes that to identify a loved, trusted, and authentic brand, features like quality, design, customer experience, and creativity should be visible in a business. On establishing a potent brand, consumers will automatically love your brand and the value you’ve worked hard to put. It creates a strong emotional impression among consumers.

Strategies Used by Julian O’hayon in Branding

– Building a community first

Before Blvck Paris launched their first product, they established an online community to grow with them. It was until Julian gained over 100,000 followers on Instagram that Blvck Paris was born. It is not necessary to reach that number but establishing a community first is advisable. It helps you understand their interests as you grow with them. They are also highly likely to help you promote your brand firsthand. Branding, according to him, should boost advertising.

– Listening to feedback is another

Feedbacks could either be positive or negative, but it’s crucial to listen to them and act on them. Blvck Paris often emails clients to find out about their experience after a sale is complete, to work on what is not adding up. It could be from the delivery to whether a product received was as expected.

– Focusing on what you are good at

O’hayon was also passionate about what he did. He advises on focusing on what you do best. When venturing into a business, and for you to strategically create value in what you are doing, passion is the drive, as you outsource those you cannot do. He, too, adds value to his brand by working on what he does best.

In conclusion, you too can navigate through your industry and in the online space. Branding is the power behind legendary brands like Apple, Microsoft, and Amazon. You also can enjoy your share of success following Julian O’hayon’s techniques. Follow him on his social media accounts for much more insights.
