My name is Aisha Jamal and I am an MBBS graduate from Rawalpindi, Pakistan. I aspire to be an internal medicine physician in the United States.

During my time in medical school it was clear to me that the all embracing nature of the field of internal medicine is where I fit in best, like a detective case waiting to be solved.

I was able to first hand witness the effect of the COVID pandemic in a developing country and the vital role public health plays in curbing infectious diseases. The holistic evidence based approach to patient care has ignited my interest in research.

As like two peas in a pod, research and modern medicine practice go hand in hand. I wish to partake in more scientific discoveries  in research along with being a candidate for match of 2024.My ultimate passion is to  be a physician who strives towards  helping people.

Osama Alkobari, a 23-year-old aspiring medical student who will graduate from Near East University by the end of June 2023. He has worked on a variety of research concepts over a broad spectrum, and writing scientific publications and collaborating with doctors are two things he is driven to achieve as he enjoys working closely with others.
