Influencer and Model Sonia Serences Shares Her Journey to the Top

Every journey has to start somewhere, and for famous influencer and model Sonia Serences, it all began when she discovered her love for art. However, like any other journey, it hasn’t been easy for Sonia to reach her goals. She has encountered numerous obstacles including self-doubt and people not believing in her. But what makes her story unique is how she has not let any of that stop her. Despite the challenges, Sonia Serences has cemented her place in the modeling world becoming a top model.
According to Sonia, she has always felt drawn to art, and to quench her thirst, Sonia started her journey early by getting her first job as a visual artist. Sonia is a talented graphic designer and web designer. She also has a deep interest in abstract painting and illustrations, which helped her find her way into the modeling industry. Sonia has had the opportunity to meet some of the top artists in the field, and her paintings are featured in public displays.
Sonia notes that through photography, she came to love and appreciate modeling, inspiring her to learn more about it. Sonia invested her time in modeling, and through a lot of sacrifices and hard work, brands started to notice her. This created room for more opportunities helping her become a top model in her home country of Canada, and beyond.
Sonia Serences has worked with various brands promoting jewelry, skincare products, and many more. She was part of the Magazine Cover Model competition (International category), where she was ranked 2nd and 8th place in the two contests. Sonia has also been part of numerous events using the platform to share her brand story and inspire others.
Sonia does not believe in limits, and she doesn’t try to confine herself into a box. Her strong ambition and willingness to succeed set her apart in the industry, helping her to learn new things and grow her brand. She says that this is something she hopes to teach others in the entrepreneurial space and show everyone that failure is not always the end.
When Sonia started modeling, she struggled with self-doubt and she always felt like she wasn’t good enough. In her words, she felt like she didn’t meet the beauty standards, which affected her success in the industry. This went on for some time, and while she was putting in the work, no one seemed to take note of her.
Even so, Sonia did not give up. She worked on her confidence and began believing in herself more, which has helped her reach the top. To help others in similar situations, she has now built her brand around diversity and inclusivity. She is using her platform as both an influencer and model to inspire other women and show people that it is okay to be unique. She wants to teach others the importance of embracing themselves. Sonia says her current goal is to bring change to the modeling industry and create a safe space. Her dream is to be a multi-published international model.
