Welcome, Giovanni! It’s great to have you here today. You’ve turned BoostYourCampaign into a powerhouse in the crowdfunding space. What sparked the idea to start this journey?
Giovanni: Thanks for having me! It all began back in 2010 when my co-founder and I recognized a gap in how businesses were handling their new product launches. Having seen the strategic depth at Bain, I knew there was a better way to maximize results, especially for smaller players aiming big. It was all about making high-level marketing tactics accessible and effective.
With your impressive background and your growth agency and crowdfunding successes, what would you say is your secret sauce?
Giovanni: Our secret sauce really boils down to our comprehensive approach. Since starting in 2010, we’ve handled thousands of campaigns, which has allowed us to develop a proven and tested system. We have a massive list and data points that enable us to target relevant audiences accurately and quickly. Additionally, our team is experienced and delivers a complete A to Z service that’s done for the customer. And all of it in-house.
Besides quality of service and results, we stand out because we avoid the false tactics that some in the industry use—like adding their logo to successful campaigns in return for a free post, or charging high fees for consultancy while leaving clients to do all the work.
Instead, we keep our prices more accessible and take a ‘skin-in-the-game’ approach for all projects. This means we not only share the risk but also invest upfront, making it affordable for people to launch their crowdfunding campaigns.

Marketing can be a maze for many. How do you simplify it for your clients?
Giovanni: We keep it clear, focused and partner up with our customers vs. selling a service or expensive course. Marketing isn’t just about spreading the word; it’s about spreading the right word to the right people. We harness everything from influencer marketing to cutting-edge ad tech to ensure our clients hit their targets effectively.
And for fun, if you weren’t in the marketing or world, what would you be doing?
Giovanni: I’d probably be teaching. There’s something about sharing knowledge and seeing that spark of understanding in someone’s eyes that’s quite similar to what I do now, just in a different classroom.
