Interview with King of Miami’s Nightlife Artist Purple Miami

Residing in South Beach (Miami) is an up-and-coming artist that goes by the name Purple Miami. As known as the king of nightlife in Miami, Purple has been coordinating prestigious client trips for years and now is trying his luck in the music industry. The artist has long been affiliated with Groot Hospitality as the next guy alongside its CEO and Founder Dave Grutman. Through this Purple has been able to network with some of today’s top music stars, giving him the framework to one day join them at the top. Purple has released three songs thus far in his career and they’ve brought in tens of thousands of streams. This is just the beginning, check out our interview with him below.

– Start of Interview –

Tell us about your background getting to where you are today?

“I work in nightlife hosting as a VIP Liaison with Groot Hospitality in Miami, FL. Through my years I’ve developed a passion for music and djing, that’s where I am today and what I am pursuing.”

Where are you from?

“Miami, FL.”

How did you get into music?

“Form hosting the largest musicians in the world at all of our nightclubs and
traveling with them.”

What is the most challenging thing you have overcome in your life?

“Perseverance and understanding that timing is everything in life.”

Are you currently signed or independent?

“Independent.”

Who inspires you the most musically?

“Tiesto, Carnage, and Diplo.”

What do you want people to take away after listening to your music?

“I want them to feel the energy in the music as if it were a soundtrack to their life.”

What is your greatest achievement as a musician?

“Finalizing and putting out my first track, it’s always the hardest.”

Do you produce your own music? If not who do you work with?

“I produce my own music.”

Who is one artist you wish you could work with?

“Diplo.”

Tell us about any new music you have coming out? When is coming out? What is it about?

“I have a remix for Alok coming out on May 23rd.”

What does a day inside your shoes look like?

“Wake up, work out, get my work done with Groot, and get music and djing in the rest of the evening.”

Anything else you want the audience to know about you?

“That you’ll know me very soon if you don’t know me yet!”
