Interview with LA Hip Hop Artist Presidentrj

Getting to Know the Artist

Presidentrj is also known as “STREET PRIEST” is creating a wave of his own. This young artist who resides in Sunny Los Angeles, California released his single, “STREET PRIEST ”. begins with a smooth-melodic introduction from the well-articulated vocalist Presidentrj. His vocal resonance had a suave, ladies’ killer appeal to the texture, highly absorbable. His art of storytelling is quite the attraction for his fans.

Beginning of Interview

Tell us about your background getting to where you are today?

“To get me to where I am today there have been a lot of sleepless nights, and a lot of wondering if I would make it home today. Through all of those days that seemed so hard I’ve grown into a relentless version of myself.”

Where are you from?

“I am from South Central Los Angeles, California.”

When did you start music?

“I began making music back in 2018 and I have not looked back since.”

How did you get into music?

“I have experienced a lot of messed up things throughout my life and I wanted to share my story through music to the world.”

What is the most challenging thing you have overcome in your life?

“The most challenging thing that I have had to overcome in my life is that I was homeless for a couple of months in 2019, due to eviction. That’s was the breaking point for me to go all gas no breaks and take my dream seriously. I needed to make bread.”

Are you currently signed or independent?

“Currently, I am an independent artist, but I am open to looking for a deal, just waiting for the right opportunity to present itself.”

Who inspires you the most musically?

“There are a lot of artists that I pull inspiration from and respect in the game, but if I had to narrow it down I would say that my top three are Lil Baby, Money Man, and Tee grizzly.”

What do you want people to take away after listening to your music?

“I feel like a lot of people will be able to relate to the place I come from. I want people to give themself a chance in life, I want people to understand the process I took to get where I’m at today. No matter what your situation is, it will always get better, I promise.”

Any new music coming out soon?

“I will be dropping a tape “ Street Priest II” and it features slime life shawty.”

What is your greatest achievement as a musician?

“Getting to work with notable artists such as Kalan fr fr and slime life shawty who recently signed off (Lil Durk’s’ label). Also got to meet up with Iceman nick for a custom chain and pendant at value of 30k.”

Do you produce your own music? If not who do you work with?

“80% of my beats come from Kuttabeats out of Atlanta, Georgia.”

Anything else you want the audience to know about you?

“I make NO CAP RAP.”
