How Jeff Fenster Can Go into Any Business and Dominate the Market

 

From offering industry-breaking employment lifecycle solutions to companies since 2010 through his Payroll & HR Company – CanopyHR, to becoming a major influencer of healthy eating through his rapidly growing superfoods chain restaurants – Everbowl, Jeff Fenster is an entrepreneurial force to reckon with. He is the founder and CEO of a number of other successful ventures including, Superfuel Coffee (Superfood infused coffee company), Real Happy foods (superfoods importing company), WeBuild (a construction company with an impressive portfolio) JFEN Holdings (a disruptive digital marketing agency), and CanopyHR (Payroll and HR company),  among many others. Since graduating from Thomas Jefferson School of Law at 24, having earned his J.D, Fenster has broken into many different industries and made his mark by constantly dominating the market.

 

Jeff Fenster was named Top 100 Entrepreneurs under the age of 35 by Empact Showcase when he was just 30 years old. At 35. Fenster was named Top 100 Movers and Shakers in the country while his newest startup, Everbowl, named Top 40 Hottest Fast Casual Startup in America. This serial entrepreneur and innovator now shares with us how he ventured into different businesses and dominated the market.

 

On Organizational Culture

 

For Jeff Fenster, employees are one of the greatest assets for a business. That is why he always prioritizes developing a strong positive culture in all his companies. Fenster’s personal philosophy is to make friends and have fun!. Through this mentality, he succeeds in creating conducive work environments that foster positive relationships and provide employee motivation that in turn propel his businesses to growth and success. To further scale his companies, Fenster has relied on the numerous relationships he has developed over the years as an entrepreneur. He believes that the right relationships can give entrepreneurs access to capital sources, knowledge and new customers when leveraged. According to Fenster, to move your business to the next level you must leverage your relationship capital, whether it is through value leverage or utility leverage.

 

On Business Approach

 

Jeff Fenster explains that each one of his start-ups has been born from the identification of market gaps through thorough research. And when it comes to the business approach to take, his main agenda is to always offer fresh eyes & disruption. Fenster believes that to succeed in new industries, you must break the status quo. If the presence of your business and the products and services offered do not stir up the market in any way, then you are not offering anything new or outstanding. And the growth of your business will eventually stagnate or go downhill.

 

As an innovator, Jeff Fenster always develops unique services and products that address critical market gaps. He further invests in quality, efficiency, and accessibility of his products and services to create zero room for competition. Fenster’s goal is to always be the game changer in the industry and this is how he has successfully dominated every market he establishes a business in.

 

On Work Ethic

 

From the age of 24, Jeff Fenster has been on the path of establishing one successful business after another. 12 years later, he is still doing it and does not plan on stopping any time soon. When asked what keeps him going, Fenster replied that if it’s worth doing then it is worth overdoing. Even after making millions of dollars as a young entrepreneur, Jeff Fenster who is now a family man and father of two still continues to innovate because every business he establishes is worth it.

 

And as for the argument of talent vs. hard work when it comes to success in entrepreneurship, Jeff Fenster echoes the principle that hard work beats talent when talent doesn’t work hard. This principle has been the foundation and the reason for his courage to make entries in different industries. Fenster has developed businesses in industries that were led by individuals who possessed more talent and experience than he did, but he still succeeded because he outworked them. He believes the key to success in entrepreneurship is hard work, talent is merely a boost.

 

In the entrepreneurial world, Jeff Fenster is referred to as a serial entrepreneur. And based on his successes and achievements over the years, that is a title well deserved. His journey of success is a true representation of how hard work pays.
