Journey Of A Rising Singing Artist- Maison

While it is always suggested to follow one’s passion and interests to live a satisfying and fulfilling life in the long run, it is also wiser and much more practical to have a back-up plan or supporting plan until one’s passion is fully transformed into a full-time job providing him/her with sufficient amount of income. A supporting job is required because it provides us with experience and income, both of which are necessary to follow our passion and hobbies. One such real-life example, who is striving to follow his passion while earning for himself through other sources, is Maison.

Maison’s passion for singing

After a couple of years working and succeeding in the ironworkers union I just felt like something was missing and decided to start making music. He did research and studied how to turn a song in your head into something you could listen to and bring to life. Though he travels and works up to 70 hours a week, he still brings all my music gear with him and creates music on the road, in hotels, with any free time he gets. He has learned about the business and how things work and have been pursuing his music career seriously for about a year now while having a full-time job at the same time.

Maison’s plans in Singing

Soon, Maison is planning to work with many more artists and getting more music out to the people. He is currently working on his second project that should be released in a few months. His followers, fans, and connections continue to grow every day and this is just the beginning of “Maison”.

Maison’s childhood journey

Maison tells that he hails from Bakersfield, California. He grew up in the inland empire with his mother, moving around from city to city. At the tender age of 13, he moved out of his mother’s home and started staying with friends for about two years. During that time his mother passed away and he moved in with his father in Bakersfield. From the age of 15, he started living in Bakersfield through high school. Maison rewinds his childhood and tells that he always had a love for music as a fan. He always used to stay up to date on new releases and projects that came out, mostly in the rap/hip hop genre.

Maison’s message to society

Maison tells people that no matter where you started or what you came from you can do anything you dream of, if you work hard enough and put the time into learning something and mastering it, anything is within your reach.
