Jugg Solves The Most Important Problem With Apple Chargers

Published

on

Jugg is a Apple Certified charging solution for Apple users. It is a convenient charging adapter that solves a major connectivity issue that many people have been facing with the original MacBook and iPad chargers which have not been redesigned in years.

What’s The Problem With Current Apple Chargers?

Currently, Apple chargers have a major design flaw. The power block’s weight leans away from the plug due to its center of gravity being odd. This causes accidental unplugs, tugging, and uncertainty of uninterrupted charging when the device is in need of it. Along with that, the prongs get loosened or misaligned, they tend not to fit into the socket easily. They wiggle, shake and try to get out of their insert.

Why Jugg?

With Jugg, the weight distribution of the power brick is not aligned in a way where the pull is not away from the device but secures it further as it sits with its wider side parallel to the wall.

The side-facing adapter is camouflaged by design and once the prongs stick out, the difference becomes apparent between the Apple charger and Jugg. The foldable prongs allow the users to plug their chargers in a more convenient manner as the continuity of charging isn’t disrupted by a nudge or uneven weight distribution.

Jugg also serves as a more convenient travel partner than its counterparts and there is a significantly lower chance of the power charger being accidentally pulled out.

Jugg’s adapter will remain compatible with the older generations of MacBooks and iPads. It is going to be the easiest purchase that will solve numerous issues at once and create none in the process.

Background

The concept of this alternative charging solution was designed by graduates from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, the Rhode Island School of Design, and Rollins College Crummer Graduate School of Business.

The prototypes were further refined by the partner engineering and sourcing firm Rabbit Product Design in Palo Alto, CA. Jugg holds 3rd party Apple Certification for its unique problem-solving feature. This patent-pending piece of technology is future-ready and the day users get their hands on it, they will no longer have to worry about power block falling off or getting unplugged ever again.

Jugg has pledged to be environment friendly by donating a part of its sales to non-profits removing plastics from the oceans.

Jugg is live on Kickstarter and more contributions will help Green Suitcases LLC produce more Jugg adapters.
