‘Live Every Day Chasing the Clouds’ with Well-Qualified Pilot, Michael Grana

Michael Grana brings several strengths and innovative ideas to the aviation industry, all for the purpose of making Global 360 Aviation stand out from the rest of the available aviation service companies. Michael also holds commercial seaplane and rotorcraft licenses, and he has spent many years flying turbine-powered aircraft. Michael has extensive experience in managing various aircraft operations and has flown for several Midwest 135 charter companies. Michael graduated from St. Louis University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Aeronautics, with a major concentration in Aviation Management.

The key to his success has been his belief in always investing in yourself. The more knowledge you have of a certain industry, the more likely you will have the tools to overcome any unforeseen bumps in the road. Some of his upcoming goals for 2022 are to increase the number of aircraft sold and brokered and expand the company into the private aircraft charter market. 

His advice to someone trying to achieve success as an entrepreneur is to form a plan based on your own strengths and develop your success based on your own knowledge and experience. Invest in yourself—it is the only thing that will provide you with the most dividends. 

His long-term vision is to continue to grow the company and be the number one company in the aviation industry, with exceptional people working for the company and exceptional clientele that understands Global 360 Aviation is here to make your aviation desires come true.

There have been two big life-changing moments in his career. The first one was when he became a licensed pilot. It opened up his eyes to the wonderful world of aviation and gave him the goal to continue learning and achieving more ratings and knowledge, and eventually get all his ratings from Flight Instructor to Airline Transport Pilot. 

His second accomplishment was opening his own aviation business, Global 360 Aviation. It has taught him that aviation is always changing, and through hard work, dedication, and knowledge, you can accomplish anything the clients ask.  One thing he did correctly from the start was never taking any shortcuts. He always worked hard and learned from his mistakes. While he has made plenty of mistakes in his career, he thinks it gives you knowledge on how to overcome various situations. Not one mistake can help you overcome them all, but if you learn from all your mistakes, that knowledge you gain from various mistakes will help you overcome many situations.

What inspired him to go all-in was the freedom of working for himself. He has worked for many companies in the past and has learned what works and what doesn’t. He is taking all of those experiences and creating a company everyone will want to work with and will attract the elite aviation professionals in the industry to come and work with a great team.
