Michele Massa co-founded the company Aquatec Flooring. Michele comes from a family of
flooring experts. In fact, the Massa family has been in the flooring business for over 70 years.

Throughout her life, Michele Massa has had the privilege to learn the finer points relating to the
flooring industry from her father and brother. Additionally, her education outside of the family
business has enabled her to take the Aquatec Flooring venture to incredible heights.

EDUCATIONAL EXCELLENCE

Ms. Massa’s impressive resume includes education through John Hopkins School of Public
Health, The New School University, as well as the completion of a fellowship through Yale New
Haven Teachers Institute.

At each of these fine institutions, Michele learned a variety of skills and gathered important
knowledge that has stuck with her throughout her life and career.

PROFESSIONAL PURSUITS

While her educational accomplishments are remarkable, it’s important to note that she has
implemented the knowledge she gained through these programs to work with groups such as
the Open End Theatre in New Haven CT and RIASWorks Communications LLC, to name a few.

Michele is no stranger to managing projects involving tons of money and a variety of moving
pieces. For example, in her previous communications experience, she has worked on projects
whose budgets exceeded $5,000,000. For more than 30 years she has successfully organized
ventures consisting of just a few people, to ones that involved over 300 individuals.

Furthermore, her project management experience is not limited to one specific industry. She
has worked with theater groups, educational entities, and medical organizations. In each of
these pursuits, she has learned valuable lessons which she has always kept in mind with each
subsequent project.

AQUATEC FLOORING

With her superlative work ethic and impressive skill set, Michele has helped take Aquatec
Flooring from its humble beginnings as a small startup to a growing force in the field.

As was stated previously, the Massa family has unparalleled experience in the flooring industry.
Michele has brought her knowledge of flooring, her communication skills, and her project
management experience into this venture and has given the new company an opportunity to
thrive.

Along with Aquatec Co-founders Joe and Christian Massa, Michele has helped to create a
flooring product which reflects the quality the Massa family name is known for.

Aquatec flooring is committed to creating an unmatched customer experience. Specifically, the
product in question is environmentally friendly, safe for pets and children, affordable, and built
to last.

Further, Aquatec flooring is incredibly strong and able to withstand phenomenal amounts of
pressure, while never sacrificing an aesthetically pleasing appearance. Achieving this balance is
not an easy feat.

A FORCE TO BE RECKONED WITH

Michele Massa, and Aquatec Flooring as a whole, has become an impressive force in the
flooring industry. Female entrepreneurs such as Michele are redefining what it means to be
successful in business by showing how a blend of education, hard work, patience, and
