Levi Lascsak and Travis Plumb are perfect examples of real estate investors who have made a million dollars within a year through their YouTube channel without a single paid advert.
Levi transitioned to real estate after his business closed due to the effects of Covid-19. He did not make a single sale in 2020 and the first quarter of 2021. Levi was nervous about getting into real estate because of other agents’ struggles in the initial phase of their careers. Still, he thought of a different way to attract businesses: through social media.
Levi met Travis through a mutual friend and connected right away. After sharing their ordeals in their previous industries, they planned the kind of life and business they wanted and empowered themselves to attain it. They have been using a spectacular social media approach that illuminates new trajectories, getting outstanding results quickly.
The blooming real estate agents have a YouTube channel called ‘Living in Dallas Texas,’ which Levi had previously created. The first videos they made saw them close two transactions in a month. The business has been escalating steadily, and they closed 187 transactions with $4 million in volume by the end of last month. Along the way, they figured out how to crack the YouTube code for real estate agents and generate business to get inbound calls without using conventional marketing methods.
To their amazement, their YouTube channel has really paid off even without investing in paid advertising. They received a lot of inquiries from other real estate agents who wanted to know the secrets behind their success. This prompted them to start a new YouTube Chanel, ‘The Reel Agents,’ where they teach real estate agents how to make six/seven-figure businesses out of YouTube for free. They recently introduced editing services to the course so realtors can understand YouTube editing, optimization, SEO, and other elements of content creation.
Levi and Travis are unique for making a million dollars without any ad spend in their first year in the industry. Surprisingly, they have even outdone top agents who have been in the market for a while. “They’ve never heard of agents just going from zero, especially coming from different industries. I came from a financial services background. Travis had a marketing agency that didn’t apply YouTube the way we did. He was doing paid searches and paid ads and things like that. So this was brand new for him as well,” shares Levi.
87% of agents fail within the first two years in real estate. Levi and Travis earned an income that may take an average real agent from 5–20 years or even forever to achieve. Levi was inspired to pursue YouTube marketing through a book called YouTube Secrets authored by Benji Travis and Sean Cannell.
Levi and Travis’ objective for their business, Living in Dallas Texas, is to reach a billion dollars in sales in the next five years. “We just surpassed 104 in the first year. So if we could compound that, then that is a reasonable goal,” Travis concludes.
