Q. What is your long-term goal?
Chris: My long-term goal in business is fairly simple and shared by many. I want to stop working. Isn’t that the ultimate goal for anyone? To be freed from daily, societal restraints? I suppose so. With that being said, I want to make a big enough “dent” with my messages and techniques to individuals and/or couples that it creates a ripple effect throughout the universe. Therefore, my contribution to humanity continues and on long after I have left the earth.

Q. What business-related book has inspired you the most?
Chris: My philosophy on reading books is that if you can take even ONE good piece of information from a book, then it’s a success. Even if you forget the other 99.9% of substance. So, I can’t name a specific book from memory. I believe valuable information can be found from all angles of life. That especially includes books.
Q. What is the most memorable thing you’ve done since you started your business?
Chris: I believe using the imagination is a highly under-utilized exercise. In other words, “specific-thinking”. Meditation is very important for dissociating yourself from the day-to-day grind. Meditation takes that “imagination” aspect and multiplies it. I have found this to be very therapeutic, personally, and productive for my career.
Q. If you were to write a book about yourself, what would you name it?
Chris: “A Little Bit of Jekyll and a Little Bit of Hyde”.
Q. What motivates you?
Chris: As a single father, I raised the most responsible, educated, compassionate child ever (male). He will always be my number ONE motivation. Nothing remotely compares.
Q. What is one of the best or most worthwhile investments you’ve ever made?
Chris: Research Firm, I hired an Assistant. She was responsible for handling the 15+ employees and possible complaints from vendors. Though her starting pay I could afford was extremely low, it was still larger than mine. I had to bite the bullet, financially speaking. It was not the easiest hire because it required that I show her a future of the company that did not currently exist. She not only bought it, but she was also the sole purpose it excelled. Her natural customer service skills were unmatched. I will never forget her.
Q. Where do you see the future in your niche/industry 3-5-10 years from now?
Chris: Technology is the highlight of today and the future. With that being said, MOST of the information you need to find is readily available online. From a Coach’s perspective, I can create courses, videos, and online seminars all day long but I will only capture about 80% of an individual’s understanding. In this niche, results require very specific analysis of a person’s issue and life. Fortunately, technology can’t replace the services I provide.
Q. What is your ‘one-sentence’ piece of advice you’d like to give to someone who wants to become an entrepreneur, coach, or business owner?
Chris: “Being an Architect of your own mind is not only powerful, but it’s also essential.”
