Miansai: The Jewelry Brand with Something for Everyone.

Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, so now’s the time to think about gifts. Whether you go all out on a romantic dinner, maybe even book a last-minute weekend getaway, or just surprise your other half with flowers at your office, there’s one thing that’s always on the mind: jewelry.

Back in the day, there were not a lot of men’s jewelry options available. Sure, there were cufflinks and the occasional statement ring or necklace, but most of the options were chunky and heavy—definitely not ideal for everyday wear, unless you’re a rock star or rapper. Today, there are a number of men’s jewelry designers each producing sophisticated, simple, and wearable pieces and helping shape men’s fashion. (Remember how big men’s dangly earrings were a few years ago?) One of the breakouts to emerge in this space is Miami-based jewelry brand Miansai.

Founded in 2008 by Michael Saiger, the brand has a simple goal: create understated pieces with good materials, “for the man or person that doesn’t always wear jewelry.” By focusing on simple design, the brand has effectively dismantled the barrier between fine jewelry and the average customer and identified a new customer—someone who cares about style but on their own terms. Many of Miansai’s best-selling pieces are deceptively utilitarian in their design and, as a result, effectively timeless in a time when trends last only as long as the trend pieces that attempt to explain them.

“We’ve come a long way from our start,” says Saiger. “But our mission remains the same. We just want to create elevated pieces that are uncomplicated and can be worn by anyone.” The brand has evolved since its launch to include timepieces, leather pieces, and other men’s and women’s accessories. So if you’re in need of a nice gift for any season, chances are there’s a Miansai product for you.

The brand has an elevated sleek and casual aesthetic that makes it a great starting place for any person interested in jewelry. Whether it’s your first time buying jewelry for someone or you’re just curious about incorporating it into your personal style, there’s a variety of pieces and accessories that can be adapted into your everyday look. Some of Miansai’s signature pieces include the Cuban Chain Necklace, available in gold and sterling silver. It’s a classic piece that can be dressed up or down depending on what look you’re going for. Similarly, their bracelets, like the Arbor Cuff, are lightweight, super wearable, and available in different finishes and weights that can be adapted to suit your own sartorial needs.

Naturally, Miansai also has plenty of options for the more experienced jewelry customer. The Lennox Necklace features a geometric black onyx pendant framed by gold vermeil closure on a 24-inch chain. (This piece is available in other finishes and also can be paired with the Lennox Ring.) The Valor Quartz Necklace echoes this motif with a green semi-precious stone, while the Valor Spinels Necklace incorporates a dark gemstone. The Valor Quartz Stud Earrings, which are also made with emerald-cut green quartz and gold vermeil, updates  a classic look with contemporary design and hardware. And the Shay Pearl Hoop Earring is the brand’s way of interpreting one of the biggest TikTok trends: the pearl earring.
