Money Coach Jesse Johnson Shares Her Unique Approach of “Sales as a Spiritual Practice”

Sales is not one of those subjects one would automatically connect with spirituality. In fact, it is often perceived as a negative, even sleazy profession or act. Jesse Johnson, world-renowned money coach, activist, artist, and spiritual leader, has taken sales and flipped the traditional concept on its head. Johnson wants to help others in the spiritual, healing, and self-improvement realm understand and embrace sales as a spiritual vehicle to grow the impact they can make on the world.

Not everyone is good at sales and most of the people Johnson helps are not focused on them–they are spiritual leaders, healers, and teachers making changes in the realms of self-improvement, spirituality, and meditation.

“These folks, centered on healing, devote themselves to humanity and would do so whether they made money or not. I am here to help them embrace the healthy ambition of making money along with having an impact,” says Johnson. “It is not about a specific number, it is about reaching their full expression and what that experience can look like. The sales process is a tool for going deeper and learning more about who they really are, as well as getting more enthusiastic about their business.”

Johnson shows clients how sales can amplify the impact they make with their service. Many business owners in spiritual industries have money-mindset blocks. Their businesses may focus on setting people free, but they do not focus on setting themselves free financially. This is where Johnson steps in and teaches the innovative concept that learning how to make money helps entrepreneurs to reach their goals related to making a greater impact.

Johnson grew up in North Carolina and went to college in New England, where she began exploring art, dance, and activism. She realized the world was not a fair and equal place and recognized the power and relevancy of social activism. Johnson served as a math teacher in New York City public schools, an experience she credits as part of the foundation that led her to her current endeavor as a money coach.

After 12 years of teaching and impacting lives one at a time, Johnson felt the limits of the system and was driven to impact the world on a larger scale by integrating her love of teaching with her spiritual practice. Since her teaching experience taught her how to effectively connect and guide others, she forged a 7-figure coaching business in just two years, and has guided hundreds of others to that same level of success and financial freedom. The impact and connection she has with her clients is a process of self-discovery, learning their own limits, testing their truth, and ultimately unlocking even more potential.

“My clients are learning so much about themselves, it’s as if we are at an advanced yoga, meditation, or healing retreat,” says Johnson about the transformation she sees in her clients.

One of Jesse’s clients is Erika Matos, a spiritual teacher and CEO of the company The Feel Good Shift. “Jesse has the beautiful capacity to hold a very sacred space, no one does what she does,” says Matos. “Within the first four weeks of working with Jesse, I went from $3K to $12K and it’s been consistent ever since.”

This week, Johnson is offering a unique opportunity–a virtual 2-day retreat, Sales As A Spiritual Practice, June 29th and 30th. Attendees will interact with her live, ask questions, be part of a growing network, learning how to sell their products and services from a “soul level”, creating movements, increasing impact, and turning their business into a 6-or-7-figure endeavor, embracing sales in a way that feels comfortable to them and true to their mission. This is a unique opportunity; it is Johnson’s first retreat of this kind and is the lowest-cost way to work with her personally and directly.
