Never Let Someone Else’s Perspective of You Dictate How You Live Your Life” – Kissa McCarty

Despite being a 22-year-old senior in college from a small town, Kissa McCarty shows us that if life throws you an opportunity, you take it. With 1.3 million followers on Instagram and growing, Kissa has been given an opportunity to become a full-time influencer across platforms like Twitter, TikTok, Snapchat, and Onlyfans.

Although Kissa was born and raised in a small town, she had been used to the limelight and attention from a young age, starting with gymnastics from the age of 7. The hard work ethic taught to her through gymnastics would stay with her until adolescence as she continued her humble work beginnings.

By age 14, the minute she was able to legally work, Kissa began working at her local pizza parlor. Throughout high school, she had to find a way to balance between her social life, work, and maintaining a high GPA throughout her AP courses.

After deciding to pursue a career in electrical engineering after an internship at PCB, learning how to build circuit boards, she entered college to hone in on this skill for a very viable career path. It was in her sophomore year of college that Barstool sports, a very popular social media page, reposted one of her pictures from her personal Instagram account.

Instantly following the post, she saw her following skyrocket into the thousands overnight, and in this saw an opportunity to take a career path that she never thought possible as a small-town girl. “When I first began my social media career, I put more weight on other people’s perceptions of myself. My mindset has really evolved over time,” says Kissa.

Now a senior in college, Kissa McCarty is taking this opportunity to her adulthood as she prepares to become a full-time social media influencer and fitness model.
