Today, we’re introducing NFA Saint6oy, an African-American Rapper, born in Chicago. He always puts passion into his Music. His Flow, Rhythm, Message, and Pronunciation are unique. Right now Saint6oy is signed to the Record Label “Only The Saint’s” and is ready to share his message through his songs.

Recently, Saint6oy released two new single called “Angels Over Hollywood”, and “Till The End”. His style is different from most other artists, because he is versatile, and has a very unique style of recording.

1: Tell us about your background getting to where you are today?

I don’t remember well about the times where I was a little kid and used to live in Chicago, but most People from where I usually come from know what it is to live a hard life. Sometimes u don’t have enough food, money, sometimes you get assaulted or watch somebody get killed in front of you. And those scenes are not so common to happen here in Switzerland where I’m currently living. There are different problems that I went threw and 1 of those was nearly losing my life in a car accident in December 2020.

I let this come all on me and I rested for 4 to 5 months in hospital. I really was secured that this was my last station, but God didn’t want it that way and took me out of there giving me a second chance. I counted 87 Days in Hospital and I had a lot of time to think, reflect and see things from different views.

And I chose to dedicate my life to God and began to make Music not just as a Hobby but as my Lifestyle.

From nearly losing my Life being able to release my first song and being seen by people around the world is just something you can’t describe. There is a big Way to go I only got One Single out but the name NFA will blow and I can guarantee that the people will love the Music that’s coming towards them.

2: Where are you from?

I’m originally from Brazil and Mozambique, but I was born in The U-Chicago Medicine Hospital. I lived till I was 4 years old in the streets of Auburn-Gresham (Chicago, IL)

At that young age, I moved out of America and started a completely new life in Europe. Currently, I’m living in Switzerland and building myself up to be one of the greatest in my Country with the Type of Music I create.

3: How did you get into music?

I didn’t have many friends so if there was somebody to console me I had God and Myself in those times where I was alone. I used to record Voice Memos and motivate myself to never give up, never think about suicidal thoughts, never be better than anybody but staying humble. I  always told myself that I was never gonna fall again.

This was the time where my name was born, from that part I was known as “NFA“ which means „Never Fallin Again“. One Day from those Voice memos I took some beats I saw on the internet and I put my text I wrote on it like the bar for bar and that’s how I got into music.

First, I made it to heal myself now I want to heal other people through my words.

4: What is the most challenging thing you have overcome in your life?

Like mentioned I nearly lost my life last year (2020) in a car accident that happened on December 4th.

And when I survived I wasn’t really able to do such things but I thought about music the whole time, then I was able to write and think better so that was my only occupation.

That was not an easy time but definitely one of the most challenging ones.

5: Are you currently signed or independent?

Currently, I’m an Independent Artist with hopes of getting signed soon. CEO from Only The Saints (OTS) Shatta Dushane asked me though if I wanted to join his Label with Producers other upcoming Artists and Sound Engineers. Since June 2020 am part of OTS.

6: Who inspires you the most musically?

That is an easy question because I’m a huge Polo G fan and his type of music is just different and I learn a lot from him.

I can say He inspires me the most when it comes to Music.

7: What do you want people to take away after listening to your music?

My only goal with Music is to share my Message with People. I want to let them know that they are not alone in behalf of the things that they are going through

When I started of whit music I made this to heal my problems now I make music too with hopes to heal other people.

8: What is your greatest achievement as a musician?

To make People happy with your Message through your Music. I don’t care about the numbers and the amount, but if I help other People through my Music, that is achievement enough.

9: Do you produce your own music? If not who do you work with?

I do everything by myself but I record my Music with YJ The Creator (Yves. J) One of the best Producers in Switzerland, also part of Only The Saints.

10: Who is one artist you wish you could work with?

I’m open to working with anybody, but if I had to choose 1 then Polo G with no doubt.

11: Tell us about any new music you have coming out? When is coming out? What is it about?

I got a lot of Music on the way imma drop 2 more singles and then the plan is to drop an EP. New Song about to come Out in 3-4 Weeks I can’t tell too much about the Music but my real supporters will love it.

12: What does a day inside your shoes look like?

It’s pretty stressed but that’s how life is for everybody. I rise across the Country with my Manager. We always got some Collabs, Foto/Video Shoots or Studio appointments to get done.

I take a lotta Flights, here in Switzerland it’s also common to use the Train. So what I do is I reserve a little Sector for myself so I don’t need to drive with strangers right beside me. I get to know a lot of locations and a lot of Hotels where I can just relax my mind from the stress going on.

Nothing too special but there’s always something going on.

13: Anything else you want the audience to know about you?

From being 1 second away from losing your life to stand where I am right now it’s a blessing in really Thankful God is on my side. I never taught I would ever be able to do what I do right now, this is a dream coming true, even though am not at that level I wanna be there though.

There’s a lot of work to do & a lot of obstacles we need to avoid. There’s coming music from all types you can imagine & with the right dedication we gon be on Top soon.

For my last words, I first wanna thank God, cause without him I wouldn’t even be here anymore. My Family, my close friends, my Manager, my whole Team & my supporters.. just a big thank you to everyone who brought me forward, y‘all just crazy.

God Bless y‘all – NFA Saint6oy
