No Internal Monologue Is the Hottest Podcast You Should Be Listening to Right Now

You know how sometimes you just can’t shut off your brain, and the voices in your head won’t stop chattering away? Well, there’s a new podcast that’s all about giving those voices a platform called the No Internal Monologue.
The podcast is hosted by Morgan Schlichting, a 23-year-old content creator who admits she felt she was “growing up in an age where it’s difficult to maintain a sense of self”. Morgan describes the podcast as a safe space to be vulnerable in your thoughts and feelings without fear of judgment.
One fun fact about Morgan is that she doesn’t have an inner monologue. She is one of the people who literally have no filter, and not because they don’t want to. Instead, she’ll often just say what she’s thinking, which some feel is too blunt. She says, “I speak about things I probably shouldn’t, and I don’t know when to shut the hell up!”
Inspired by her “struggle”, Morgan created the No Internal Monologue to share her thoughts and allow others to voice theirs. No Internal Monologue is a podcast that celebrates what it means to be human. The show highlights the ways in which our inner thoughts, emotions, and physical reactions make us uniquely who we are.
“I feel like so many people are living under this pressure of always being on point,” she says, “always being presentable.” For her guests, who have ranged from content creators to loved ones, it’s about sharing something honest about themselves with others and exposing the ugly behind the scene moments in their lives.
The show features interviews with people from all walks of life who have stories about the time they finally decided to stop living according to someone else’s script. They give voice to their inner monologues, talk about their vulnerabilities, and discuss how they cope with the hard moments.
“Everyone has something they think they need to live up to, but what if you don’t want to?” Morgan asks. “What if you just want to be yourself without being compared or judged? There are many things we feel we need to do to make other people happy, but that’s too much work sometimes.” Instead of trying to conform, Morgan champions authenticity and vulnerability in all areas. “You don’t need to live up to anyone’s ideals,” she stresses.
Since launching in March 2021, the No Internal Monologue podcast has aired 79 episodes covering various topics. From mental health to internet culture to self-care, Morgan and her guests have discussed every topic and shared their tips for navigating said areas. She has specifically shared her struggles with mental health, growing older, dating, and other aspects of life.
“This girl is so cool! I love how she has guests on her podcast for weekly rants and convos. They are really chill and interesting!” shares one fan. “Please check out No Internal Monologue if you want a breath of fresh air.”
No Internal Monologue is quickly becoming one of the most popular podcasts out there. If you’re looking for something to keep you entertained and engaged, this is definitely the show for you! It is available on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, and SoundCloud.
