Omar Al Ashi: “Visit Dubai and Start Renting with Urent”

The journey of entrepreneurship is fraught with challenges, and the true measure of an entrepreneur’s spirit is not always in abundance but in how many obstacles they have turned into opportunities; how their adversities have become advantages by the lessons they have learned in overcoming hardship.

27-year-old businessman Omar Al Ashi is the perfect example of turning barriers into bridges to reach his next level of success by keeping a positive mindset and bringing investment and entrepreneurial opportunities to the masses.

He says “visit Dubai and start renting with Urent”.

Omar is surely a hardworking soul and thinks outside the box. He started his own online marketplace for vehicle rentals in 2019 along with CFO ‘Greg Holt’ with a broader vision to help the entire MENA market. He launched ‘Urent’ that now helps people around the MENA region in renting vehicles easily.

Omar Al Ashi, said recently that Dubai, which is famous for its infrastructure and high demand of cars, is poised to benefit as growing Airbnb of vehicles focus more on cleanliness and sanitisation post-pandemic.

“Urent played a strategic role to help car rental companies even during the pandemic. Where people couldn’t rent local taxies to their office, Urent helped them solve their problem by helping them rent their own car with their seamless service and cashless transactions. And Urent has seen a massive growth and increase in revenue by 300-400% since the last 6 months” Omar added.

The Airbnb of vehicles is still booming, raising prospects that the vehicle-rental service will be able to sustain its momentum, even as the easing pandemic lessens the need for renting the cars.

Urent’s CFO, Gregorian Holt sought to reassure the clients that the Dubai, UAE, company will still play a key role in an evolving more in-app time management features that is expected to give clients more flexibility to split your time between the home and office, while ‘U’ rent?

Few signs for optimism emerged in the company’s latest quarterly bookings report released Monday, while sources still remain unverified.bridges to reach his next level of success by keeping a positive

After analyzing the growth in his business, he decided to facilitate this model to other traditional rental companies to completely digitalize their businesses via Urent Mobile App.

With the growing automotive scene in UAE owing to the rising population in the country, who would even think of buying a new car if they have Urent?

Sahil is a serial entrepreneur and branding specialist. He also serves as a real estate investor and business consultant. He presently serves as the owner of The Brand Castle - Specialist in Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Web Design & Development and more.
