Pairelite.Com is shedding light on the unrealistic expectations That Social Media Set, Through its Prize Base #iamunique Contest!

While many of us enjoy staying connected on social media, excessive use can fuel feelings of anxiety, depression, isolation, and FOMO. PairElite.com the talent marketplace is setting up to launch an awareness campaign through its unannounced social media contest #iamunique. And we think this will make a huge positive shift in the mindset of social media users.
In the last couple of years, social media has become very well many parts of our daily lives, most of us can not go about our day without checking who posts what and who liked our photos. Because of the nature of social media, likes and views have become a validation point, If a user does not get as many likes as their friend or a family member they will question their worth as a human being.
Pre-social media, only celebrities had the luxury to look perfect through photo alterations and so on, however, nowadays the same tools that were only available to the elites, are now available to everyone and one of these tools is a filter. Now with a click of a button, a user can alter the way they look in a way that can seem very realistic.
Social media can make us believe that the next person has what we do not have, which tends to be one of the causes of anxiety and depression. PairElite was looking for a way to educate people on what you see is not actually what you get this time, and what a better way to spread a positive message than a meaningful contest around the matter.
We applaud the team at PairElite for taking action on this important issue, we believe that the more this is spoken about the higher chances we will get at fighting depression which is the number one cause of suicide.
Social media is not all negative. It is entertaining due to its diverse set of content, fun, and can lead to great connections. You can never watch enough or talk enough. But for an average person who is not experienced in its creeping long-term effects, needs to be cautious with what they hold and untrue.
In a perfect world we wouldn’t need to discuss such a topic, thus, just like everything else that can impact our mentality, this again, needs to be a priority.
The details of the contest such as the prizes and the rules were not shared, we will be updating this article as soon as we obtain additional information. The news of the contest was disclosed by a source in which will remain anonymous as the contest is not yet announced by PairElite.
