Perseverance with Zero Guidance: The Story of Shauna Landrum

Unlike academics or professional careers, there is no crash course to help you survive personal and professional losses. The absence of this often leads to depression, and in more severe cases, victims blame themselves for the misfortune or mishap in their lives. If you have hit rock bottom in life with no ray of hope, Shauna Landrum might be crucial in helping you overcome it with self-love and perseverance. The saying “what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger” perfectly describes this empowering soul who is a Registered Nurse, Community Health Educator, Fitness Influencer, and Mental Health Advocate. She is a life changer helping women and children find their footing again.

Shauna Landrum, or Shauna ReNe, is popular for her brand “PrettyFITsMe.” Where she believes true beauty is not defined by your outer appearance but more importantly the honest virtues of your heart. Besides being a holistic health influencer, she is  a Registered Nurse who helps patients overcome their acute mental health challenges. She has practiced Rehabilitation Nursing as well as Pediatric Nursing for nearly seven years. She is a BLS/PALS Certified healthcare professional who has been one of the top-rated/ requested IV Insertion nurses at her facility and is especially known for her genuine, therapeutic influence on mentally ill teenage patients. Shauna has helped many people survive trauma, heartache, disappointment, failure, and misfortune, to pave a path for fortune and success. Shauna’s contributions to her own success made her one of coach Stormy’s top nominated transformation successors in June 2022, a TLC life Changer.

Understanding others’ pain and helping them get along with life are natural attributes for Shauna. Having been through losses, pain, and several helpless situations, she has fought valiantly to become the health advocate she is today. She was only 12 when she lost her father to coronary artery disease. At 21, she witnessed her nephew shot dead. Moreover, while pursuing her nursing career, her grandmother passed away at home, suffering from a “death rattle.” Her trauma doesn’t end here. Learning to overcome the greatest of her emotional trauma, influenced by a toxic relationship, Shauna had to fight tirelessly 14 long years for what she believed to have been the best interest of her child. Apart from these experiences, Shauna has also faced rejections at job places and even made a few bad decisions in life.

All her life experiences have shaped her into who she is today. In every situation Shauna encounters, she turns it around, regardless of whatever hand she’s dealt. She believes she has a fire that ignites people’s passion for finding a way through any difficult situation. As an influencer, she guides people, especially women, and children, to transform their health and become physically, emotionally, and spiritually fit.

Shauna believes that her faith in God and the love of her family and friends have helped her endure the most challenging phases of her life. Now she wants others to find the same strength through the path of faith, self-love, and perseverance to stand against everything that comes to destroy them. Looking into the future, she plans to reach out to more women and children struggling and help them develop resilience. She said, “I strongly desire to empower women and children to feel good about themselves, because it’s not just on you, it’s within you! Pretty Fits me just as it fits you!”
