Pete Costanti, the leading entrepreneur speaks what success means to him

Pete Costanti runs MFGR designs, his background is varied, from commercial fishing, berry picking, pizza delivery, to carpentry, REI sales and bussing tables. “Success for me doesn’t include money. Success has been in big projects like working on pieces for large scale hotels like the 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge – mainly I feel successful when we bust outside of the southwest Montana borders. Another way we feel successful is when we can bring small-town culture and push it into big cities. Also, getting to work with renowned people like Byoung Cho from Seoul, South Korea, who’s such a talented architect that leaves me feeling overwhelmed with the feeling of success. Success is in the level of collaboration we do and the environment we create to foster that creativity”, Pete remarked.
Here is how Pete has made his name in the industry
Pete’s in the top 1% of his industry can be found in the fact that MFGR sends furniture all over the world, – from France to Dubai. This enables them to do what many businesses can’t; break out of the Montana bubble. Also, the fact that he can work with renowned architects and clients, helps prove MFGR’s industry standing.
How Pete feels successful
Pete says, “Successes for me don’t include money. Recently, success has been in big projects like working on pieces for large scale hotels like the 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge, mainly I feel successful when we bust outside of the southwest Montana borders. Another way we feel successful is when we can bring small-town culture and push it into big cities. Success is in the level of collaboration we do and the environment we create to foster that creativity.”
Pete shares his wisdom
Pete advises that people should always take chances and not be afraid to do things differently or jump into a group with the underdogs. “People can just get too engulfed in work, but work will be better if you live your life and enjoy your life, you’ll have better mental health, be happier and bring that into your work.”
Pete’s purpose for life
Pete stated that the biggest purpose in his career lies in creating a great work environment and leaving the world more interesting and thoughtful than when he got here. Pete constantly thrives to rethink what a design firm can be and how he can develop and produce in the best way possible. He keeps working on improving things, building successful habits and how all aspects of design be symbiotic and work together in harmony.
