Ray Vu, Dentist To A Devoted Entrepreneur

People are always seeking fulfillment in life. They learn new skills and do whatever else is necessary to find happiness and a satisfying career.

The story of Ray is one of determination and courage to find true happiness and accomplishment in life. From a well-paying career as a dentist, Ray went through a soul searching process to find his satisfying job as an Internet marketer. He sees it as a journey to accomplishing a life’s mission. He offers insight into what it takes to venture into a new field and find success and fulfillment in doing whatever the heart desires.

Identify a niche area of interest

There are many opportunities and options that a person can take to succeed in life. Finding areas of interest that can impact others’ lives may be the beginning of a fulfilling career. Many would have admired Ray’s career as a dentist for all that it offered, yet his interests were elsewhere. His move to internet marketing gave him more joy impacting the lives of others in a big way. To succeed in a new venture, one needs to learn the relevant skills. The internet may be an excellent start to learn the skills required for the new venture. Ray took the time to learn about social media marketing, affiliate marketing, and YouTube automation, among other essential skills. Information is power and will be required as it puts you in the driver’s seat of your business.

Have a clear goal and a strategy

A famous writer once said, “if you want to be happy, set a goal that commands your thoughts, liberates your energy, and inspires your hopes”. The truth is, success in any venture requires planning. A well thought out implementation strategy with getting you to your goal. It’s common to meet many false starts or failures in any new venture, but what counts is how you react to the failed attempts, and the lessons learned from the experience. Ray has learned to re-strategize after setbacks and has often come out victorious.

Develop a schedule and get started

There is a Japanese proverb that a vision without action is a daydream, while action without vision is a nightmare. While the fear of failure is real for many people venturing into new territory, taking the first step offers an opportunity to learn. Ray’s quest to create a personal brand had him jump from one course to another as he could not get immediate results. He discovered that failure to stick his head out and get started was holding him back. His resilience and commitment finally prevailed and is now trailblazing in internet marketing. Having a schedule of activities and timelines to achieve a specific goal will gauge whether the business plans are on course.

Get a mentor

Learning and getting guidance from an expert in a new venture is one way of achieving significant progress. A mentor will provide insights and help overcome hurdles but, most importantly, provide inspiration to grow. One should aim to find people who are successful in the new line of businesses to serve as mentors. Mentees should walk in the steps of their mentors to succeed. Mentors should be willing to share their experiences with their journeys. Ray’s role models in the internet marketing venture have been Russel Brunson and Peng Joon.

A new venture has two sides to it. On the one hand, it can be exciting and rewarding, but on the other hand, it can be challenging and full of obstacles. What matters is for one to keep pressing on until they find fulfillment and satisfaction in life.
