Realtor Cindy Carnaghe Shares Her Secret to Having a Successful Real Estate Career

Cindy Carnaghe is a highly sought-after real estate agent that primarily serves the areas of Roseville and Rocklin, California. The secret of her successful career is revealed in this article, so make sure to read until the end.

She and her husband, Paul have four children in total; Cindy has two amazing boys while Paul has two beautiful girls who now have children of their own.  The couple both loves to golf and go traveling.

According to Cindy, she has one fundamental belief that serves as the foundation for her business, and it is her secret to a successful career: It’s ‘Always work in the best interest of my client.’ She explained, “I pride myself on having an uncanny ability to connect with my clients, understanding their needs and providing them with exceptional and knowledgeable service. As your Realtor, I will listen to you without pressure, keeping you informed throughout the entire process.”

Her clients expect to have meticulous attention to detail from her; she added, “I commit well beyond closing, always going the extra mile to get the job done!” Moreover, Cindy understands that buying a home is likely one of the single most significant purchases people will make in their lifetime, more than just a place to live and a substantial investment.

She said, “I try to inject enthusiasm, diligence, and the care that it deserves providing a stress-free process along the way. It is this level of commitment that has helped me build an exceptional history of delivering only the very best results, and, at the end of the day, I love knowing that I’ve negotiated the very best deal possible for my clients. For me, home is where all precious life events and cherished memories happen, so being a guide in that process is endlessly rewarding. Making genuine connections inspires me every day, and I pride myself on building and maintaining relationships with my clients and a network of fellow agents. I know how stressful a move can be and how essential it is to find a realtor who can give you the inside track in a new location, whether it be a cross-country or only a local move.”

Cindy primarily serves the areas of Roseville and Rocklin, and she shares some great reasons why it’s a great place to start a family. She said, “Roseville, CA (the largest city in Placer County), offers pleasant overall weather, affordable homeownership, high livability, family-friendly neighborhoods, stellar schools, varied recreation, and more. Located about 20 miles northeast of California’s capital city of Sacramento, Roseville is one of the top suburbs in the area, ideal for growing families, ambitious professionals, and retirees alike. To boot, it’s a ‘Top 5’ city in America for young adults under the age of 35 to buy a house.

Home to beautiful neighborhoods and friendly neighbors, the city of Roseville is a beautiful place to live in Northern California. It’s also 2–3 hours from some of the best ski resorts and mountain areas in the US. So whether you want to move for the climate, housing affordability, proximity to everything, excellent education, or all the above, Roseville definitely checks all the boxes and then some!

Living in Rocklin offers residents a dense suburban feel, and most residents own their homes. In Rocklin, there are a lot of restaurants, coffee shops, and parks. Many families and young professionals live in Rocklin, and residents tend to lean conservative. The public schools in Rocklin are highly rated.”

Cindy works mostly with First-time buyers,  empty nesters, move-up. She lives in Sun City Roseville, which is a very fun, active 55 and over community. When asked about the status of the real estate market today, she responded, “In May 2021, The median listing home price in Roseville, CA was $599.9K, trending up 17.5 % year over year. The median listing home price per square foot was $300. The median home sold price was $650K. On the other hand, Rocklin Median Listing was at $650K Price/SqFt $293, Median Sold Home Price $640K  Trending up 19.2% year over year.

Here are Cindy’s tips for buyers and sellers:

Tips for Buyers

“Be prepared before you hit the ground. Everyone knows that we are in a fast-moving real estate market. You really do not want to fall in love with your dream home before you are ready to submit your offer! So, get your team in place first. Hire your real estate agent and have your buyer’s agency agreement signed. Next, have a heart-to-heart with your lender about what you qualify for AND what you actually want to spend every month. Finally, have your ‘prequal’ letter in your hand. Then hit the streets searching for your home. Believe me when I say that if you do not do these steps first, there is a real chance the house you fall in love with will be under contract before getting your offer submitted!

Tips for Sellers

Staging is your friend. In real estate, the pretty house wins! No matter what type of market we are in, the appearance of a house directly impacts the amount of time it takes to sell. And the price for which it sells. The reality is home buyers often don’t have an imagination when searching for a house. Even if the updates a house needs are simple and inexpensive, they can keep a home for selling for top dollar! So what’s the answer? Staging! Stagers are magicians! They can place furniture in a room so there is no confusion about what the space should be used for. Not to mention they can make your home look like a model home. And guess what that means to your sales price?!?”
