Shape Your Aesthetics with The Fix

A beauty salon is a safe space – a place where your fairy godmother resides, if you will. You go in ever-so-slightly unkempt and emerge a little while later feeling on top of the world, looking the like the best version of you.

The Fix on 299 Dundas St E in downtown Waterdown is a luxury beauty salon that offers customers a transformative experience every single time they visit. With over two decades of experience in the beauty industry under her belt, Anastasia felt the need to open her own business – one where every client was treated like a celebrity.

The brainchild of Anastasia Yarrow, the Fix was originally called Anastasia’s Aesthetics when it was launched in 2012. It was rebranded in 2019.

Clients benefit from Anastasia’s expertise as an aesthetician that she has honed over the years. She continues to remain at the cutting edge of the latest techniques in the beauty industry through additional training and certifications.

Jeepers Peepers

To misquote a cliché, if the eyes are the windows to the soul, the brows are the frames. Well kept brows instantly make you look well put together.

When it comes to brows, Anastasia is an artist in her own right and isn’t afraid to travel to bring the best beauty techniques back home. She is armed with a microblading certification from Lash Forever and her Ombré brow certification from Brow Beauté Academy and has trained under celebrity eyebrow legend and grow guru, Kelley Baker in Los Angeles. A stint in the capital of all things glamourous – New York has honed her brow skills further.

Semi-Permanent Aesthetics

Staying on top of beauty trends and embracing the latest industry standards for aesthetic, hygiene, and customer service, The Fix offers a number of semi-permanent cosmetic procedures. Offering semi-permanent options offers their clients quite a few benefits – the biggest one being the amount of time they save getting ready every morning. The longevity of semi permanent makeup is appealing too. Some of The Fix’s clients love the idea of starting off a more elaborate look with a perfect base.

The Fix offers semi permanent make up procedures that include Lash Lifts and Tints, Brow Microblading, Brow Laminations, and Lip Blushing.

Everyday Pampering

Just like celebrities, The Fix believes everyone who walks through the salon doors deserves to be pampered. The manicures offered are luxurious and include a relaxing hand and arm massage. Those who have a little extra time can opt for the ‘I Need a Fix Manicure’ that’s described as ‘a classic manicure with a kick’. It includes hand and arm exfoliation with The Fix’s luxurious Mandarin scrub followed by a warm towel and arm and hand massage.

Pedicures in the salon are a rejuvenating experience. Clients can pick a foot scrub of their choice and the rejuvenating foot and calf massage is followed by a hot rocks treatment to complete the experience. Clients can also opt for a warm almond oatmeal mask for some extra pampering.

Whether you want to that perfect summer tan in winter or simply want to pamper your tired feet, you can book your treatment on The Fix’s website and treat yourself to an experience that will leave you feeling like a million bucks.
