Simply Bare, the Best Body Butters, Body Oils and Scrubs — When Homemade is the Only

simply bare

Demetria Shelton had the hardest time finding moisturizers that brought
lasting relief, felt good and smelled good on the skin, so she decided to make
her own. After perfecting her recipe and high demand from friends and family,
she took it to market and founded Simply Bare.
Simply Bare challenges the mass-produced body butters and creams you find
in the store with its luxurious feel, zero preservatives, all-natural ingredients
and tantalizing scents. Her popup shops always sell out and she’s got some
great ideas and opportunities for the company’s future direction!
Demetria’s Story
Demetria shared, “a lot of people in my family and I live with eczema and
psoriasis. We were constantly buying things at stores like Walmart or Target,
and there’s nothing on the market that has anything for really sensitive skin
that makes you still feel confident and doesn’t have a weird smell to it. So I
created Simply Bare about three years ago after seeing other people making
their own body butter. It wasn’t supposed to be a business or really big.”
One of her main goals was to create products that left skin moisturized and
feeling great. She didn’t want long lists of harmful and complicated
ingredients on her labels; she felt that simple and natural ingredients would
be exactly what her skin was calling for.

She went on to say, “So I decided to make products I felt like I was proud of
and made me feel confident while wearing them. And after months of trial and
error, it turned into something I really liked.”
She started doing popup shops and found a lot of people were silently dealing
with similar skin problems. She discovered that people in the community also
found it difficult to find products they liked that prevented breakouts. The
community feedback drove Demetria to continue developing her body butter
business.
Famous people began calling as people learned about the benefits of her
preservative-free, all-natural body butters. Today Simply Bare is looking at
white labeling her products for a major up-and-coming beauty and wellness
influencer.
Thanks to Demetria’s, her boyfriend’s and her sister’s hard work, Simply Bare
is quickly growing in popularity and helping people with dry skin and skin
conditions all over the United States!
Simply Bare Body Butters, Body Oils and Scrubs
Demetria and her close-knit team opted to add oils and scrubs to their
offerings to give consumers a complete skincare package. All of the products
are cruelty-free, environmentally friendly and handmade in America with love.
She utilizes ingredients that have been moisturizing skin since ancient times,
like shea butter, mango butter and cocoa butter. The only difference between
the products is the natural scents she uses to enhance them. But she also

offers scent-free products for those with extremely sensitive skin or for use on
baby skin.
Simply Bare currently offers the full system in three scents, Amethyst, Amor
and Seduction. The company also offers body butter in Allure, Fraise, Bare
(unscented), Fuego and Cashmere. And in case you are wondering, Demetria
shared that her fan favorites are Amethyst, Seduction and Amour; and her
personal favorite is Allure.
In addition, the team is considering seasonal and limited scents; share your
favorite scent and scent combinations with Simply Bare for consideration on
Facebook and Instagram! And to get your hands on Demetria’s extraordinary
all-natural products, head over to the Simply Bare website to purchase your
handmade body butter, body oil and scrub today!
