SPTHEGZ Interview After Battle With Covid-19

famous musician

What’s your experience been like recently getting Covid-19?

It was tough, kinda like the flu for me, but I tugged it out for sure!

What helped you recover from covid?

Definitely got lots of rest in, took Advil, airborne, and drank mad water.

Did you feel like your life was in danger throughout your covid experience?

To be honest just felt sick, no other way to describe it, but you know I have faith so I wasn’t too worried though. Knew I’d be Gucci eventually.

Speaking of how you’re feeling…

How would listeners describe your new song “Feeling it” in just a few words?

Alternative, Trap, Drill~N~B, experimental, rap

“feeling it“ is about the people around you and if they understand your concept, mission & journey.

Why do you believe people might listen to your music?

I identify with listens who may have felt pain or looking to escape reality and enjoy more lavish moments in life and more so likes to turn up through my music.

What is the one habit/thing you cannot live without?

I need my gas ⛽️ it’s the only way I cope & of course my baby boy name siah who is growing up fast.

How did you come by your stage name?

Spgz is originally it but my child hood name was spoonz so over years it was chopped up and started a label called real Gz make Gz which was a team of brothers called goon squad so the Gz never left my name.

If you could change one thing about the music industry, what would it be?

I would change the perceptions a rapper.  Like you shouldn’t have to be rich to make good music and be influential. The music industry should be diverse & universal and everyone’s art should be viewed from their perspective and not how popular they’re.

Where do you see yourself in the next 5 to 10 years?

I want to have a big record label signing the hottest artist; changing the game; doing some shit like diddy lol and hope to be on top of the game by then.

Do you have any hobbies or interests outside of music that you would want to pursue once you’ve established the tools and resources needed from your music career?

I’ve always been into sports, acting, screen writing. I attended a few classes and course as a teen but never got the break I wanted. I would love to star in a movie. Also, I’m big on video games I get busy on everything from call of duty to fortnite; I just love escaping reality.

What strengths do you have that you believe make you a standout from other musicians?

I’m a all around artist and I take my craft seriously. I wrote for songs for major artist and I performed with and managed other great artist in the game; so I’d say I’m business management savvy. Also, I make sure not to skip a beat or bar so I tend to rap and sing well.

What is one message you would give to your fans?

I wouldn’t have the mindset and motivation to be where I am now and I wouldn’t be hear without anybody I’ve came across, so I’m truly blessed and thankful.

How go people follow you?
